I was delivered the wrong order from this restaurant and then when I tried to reorder the restaurant was listed as “closed” on grubhub only 30 minutes after I made my original order in the morning. Tried calling but they cut the phone line off. That’s terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed because the food is great. How can you just decide when to receive orders and when to shut your phone off at your convenience, leaving your customers in the dust? Please do better for your customers.

Already running late, but needed breakfast. Suprised to find not only a "comfort of home" vibe, but also at least 10 construction workers chowing down on some appetizing looking platters... and I mean platters. Large round oval plates full of food. Got my go-to BLT with cheddar, mayo and ketchup. From the first to the last bite I enjoyed it tremendously! The bacon was harder than my preference, but not the rock hard salty variety most delis and breakfast restaurants serve up. Sooo... guess whonis back 2 hours later to get some pics for the review. I kid you not, not only were there construction workers, but students galore as well. All of whom (on a budget) are getting the chicken sandwich special - $6.50 So I just had to get one as well. Maybe it's the high turnover, but this was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long time. More than enough food for the money. And they take all credit cards. I am not in this area very often. But whenever I come, so long as these doors are open, I will be here.

Always been wanting to try this place but parking is difficult. Lucky I went with my sister who drove around the block while I went in. It's a pretty nice hole in the wall. I got sausage egg and cheese sandwich and my sister got extra bacon egg and cheese sandwich with mayo and ketchup. We both enjoyed the sandwiches. As you can see from my sausage egg and cheese it came with 2 sausage patties. Next time I'll try something from the lunch items. Of course I grabbed a menu to be prepared. Good eats and good service.

Monday-Friday between 1130-1pm there will be tons of children but only because the kids prefer his food over the schools or their own food. He’s very popular around that time so it’s best to place an order online or just wait before or after those times. I have been coming here for 5+ years. It’s my favorite local breakfast spot. Mr B is always happy to adjust or make accommodations. It feels like family. Thank you ? for feeding me my family and all the kids from the high school.

Well deserved the stars. Had breakfast whole week long here, while staying nearby. Large portions, good flavoring, speedy service, low prices. No wonder place is full in the morning...

We went down to the city for a couple days from the capitol region, and the first morning we went to a place called Tommy's, and that was excellent, and we were thinking about going back there but we decided to try another mom and pop place and we chose this one. We were a little surprised when we sat down and we got plastic ware and paper cups, but then we realized that John probably doesn't have a dishwasher and so it's just easier for him to deal with those products than it is to deal with actual glasses and silverware. No harm no foul. The next thing he brought to the table was ketchup and Sriracha, so I didn't have to ask for hot sauce, and in my book that's a plus. I got a Greek omelette, hash browns and toast, my sister got a steak omelette grits and coffee. Everything was excellent. Well prepared very large portions very reasonable prices. If you're ever in the area and want a nice breakfast, and I'm sure their lunches and dinners are just the same, I highly recommend John's luncheonette.
