This spot has been in Jersey City for years. It's not always the best quality food, but when you're hungry late at night, it's the best tasting food. It's got that "crack" chicken that must be eaten hot, immediately, or get it home as fast as possible. Every neighborhood should have a Kennedy Fried Chicken and a 24-hr. corner store. (Also known as a Bodega).
All I'd like for them to do at this location, is clean the serving trays. Washing them would make for a better appearance. The best thing about this store is their fried chicken. On my last visit, I was surprised that the chicken was not salt as do most other stores...
They give you stale chicken, chicken that's been sitting there all day or from the day before they sell. You can taste that it's old I usually throw it away. So now when I go there I will ask them how soon till the next batch of chicken comes out to get fresh chicken I'm paying for this their not giving me anything! Then this fat one with glasses on staff gets an attitude and still slips in old pieces with the pieces just come out of the grease. So now if I can't...
