Tried the jollof rice with chicken at KingsPride Food here in Jersey City and it was amazing! The flavors were bold, the chicken was tender, and you can taste the authenticity. Hands down some of the best African food in NJ, highly recommend!
Awesome Chef. Food is great, my favourite being the Suya as well as the grilled fish with Achtieke and tomatoes sauce. Points to improve would be doing a faster service. Waiting 45 to hour is way too long. But keep you the good work.
I love it here, my husband (who’s from Burkina) and I were searched for a restaurant by us with good African food and omg we’ll never go anywhere else. The first time we came the owner was so sweet and we had a whole conversation. She really puts care into every dish and I’m typing this as I just left her with a bag of food in my hand 🤣
