Koro Koro Rice Ball Cafe

It’s under new management. There’s tablets now to order food. I asked for one in plastic, one ready to eat when the tablet asked how I wanted my rice balls. I was heading to work so I figured I’d eat one, and take one to go. I received both ready to eat… When I entered the restaurant, the employee just moved away from the counter and I asked if I could order with her or I had to order on the tablet. She said to use the tablet. I paid cash so I needed her anyway. When I ate the rice balls, the rice tasted fresh and hot but the meat was cold. Last time I came here, the rice was old and hard. It’s a hit or miss with this place now. The recipes are delicious but the quality of the products have gone down since the new management took over. Makes me sad because I really did enjoy the food here.

I was going to visit but remembered my last experience here. I went on a Saturday right after they opened and the rice balls I received were not warm. Rice also seemed cold and probably from the day before. My rice ball was falling apart. If it was fresh rice, it would’ve stayed together nicely. This is not my first time receiving a cold rice ball. Previous owners were great but after they left it seems like a lot has changed with service and quality. Sad to see because the concept and recipes are delicious. Currently pregnant and this was one of my cravings but I don’t want to pay for a cold rice ball.

This place is such a gem! The onigiri is warm when served, usually with a decent amount of filling. The soups come out piping hot, and the waiter is very nice and patient.

Great spot! But kinda dumb if you don’t say combo box, you get charged the full price of 10 rice balls. So if you’re getting 10+ make sure to say combo box. I had to pay the full price.

I order through an app and the order is consistently incorrect during the day. During the PM the order is usually correct.

I really enjoyed my koro koro rice ball cafe experience. They meals are very flavorful and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend the Sexy Shrimp and the Cuban. Shout out to Kobe and Maria for their kindness and excellent culinary skills.

Koro Koro has been a staple necessity of mine since starting college. The rice balls come in such a wide variety of great flavors. You simply can’t go wrong with what you pick. The staff have been extraordinarily helpful and will answer any food related questions you may have. Especially Jan,Alex, Maria,Kobe and especially the owner Quentin. He will sit down with you and have a conversation. The atmosphere has been nothing short of excellent. I 100% recommend stopping by and ordering a rice ball. I love this place.

Great service and yummy food. All the employees treat you like family and gave us some good recommendations. I especially liked the Korean BBQ and Tuna Mayo. They also let us try their spicy mayo aswell which I definitely recommend. The best part... EVERYTHING IS GLUTEN FREE!!

Definitely not worth the price. One rice ball is almost $5 which is ridiculous. It’s absolutely mediocre and there’s way better and cheaper places. Don’t waste your money.

Pretty pricy place but the rice balls are terrible. PLEASE SEASON YOUR RICE lol. You can’t just take hot rice straight from the cooker and smush it into a rice ball. Fillings are not good either.
