The jambalaya was the best I have had in a long time. it had the right amount of spice and had a very exquisite and traditional flavor. I was pleasently speechless.. I highly recommend it. My complements to the chef.

I had a lovely time at Krewe, it's small with an intimate atmosphere. I ordered the Vegan Dirty Rice and it was delicious. They have a great Mocktail menu, though I couldn't resist the Sweet Tea. I would recommend Krewe, make sure you make a reservation!

I was not a fan of the food at all. The collards were 60% onions and stem, they had an extremely strong vinegar taste. The seafood gumbo was extremely gritty and brittle as if they burned the roux. I paid for the food I didn’t eat with little to know apology, fix or questions from the one front of house person. If you’re looking for authentic New Orleans taste try somewhere else.

Cute little restaurant with Cajun food, playing jazz on a Sunday evening for dinner.
The salmon (special) and bread pudding were delicious!
$30 felt like a bit much for the entree, but I couldn't fault it - it was good! My partner had the steak po boy (like a French dip sandwich) & he enjoyed it --- but the star of the show really was the bread pudding.
Would definitely come back! Also it's BYOB and all tables were full on a sun evening, so might be best to reserve.

Such a gem in jersey city!!! I’m from atlanta so I’m always looking for southern cuisine and this does the job. My favs are the greens and beignets, but you really can’t go wrong with anything.
The staff is also super sweet and attentive, such a chill vibe when you sit down. 10/10 would recommend!

We ordered catering for a 50th birthday party! It was super easy to work with the owners for the order. They were very accommodating and friendly. They helped me buy the right amount of food and steered me towards fan favorites. The delivery was right on time and the food was incredibly delicious! Many of our guests said they really wanted to visit the restaurant! Well done, Krewe!

Nestled on vibrant Bergen Street, this charming restaurant is truly a hidden gem! It's the perfect spot to indulge in a delightful brunch experience. I highly recommend trying the succulent grilled oysters, which are bursting with flavor, paired with perfectly poached eggs resting atop tender, braised brisket that melts in your mouth. The servers here are exceptionally polite and attentive, always ready to offer thoughtful suggestions from the enticing menu.
The food is fantastic and worth every penny. My favorites are the BBQ shrimp, grit fries, and the banana bread.
