They don't tell you right away you have to pay before getting food. First two times I went food was good. Last time rice & beans was spoiled, smelled and tasted, other food was nasty that day. Two times the waitresses forgot to give dessert to go. Too busy with their cellphones. The one wanted me to go out of my way to pick it up. Not worth it. Wasted my money, plus tips, but they made sure to get paid before you getting nasty, spoiled food.

I’ve ordered from Larsen’s a few times and never had a bad experience…. and that continued today after ordering their Catfish Meal. Whoever seasoned and cooked the two pieces of Catfish I had needs to be working with Gordon Ramsey and nem. I mean the collards and potato salad hit too… but that CATFISH??? I don’t live far and almost walked over in the rain to get some more. Kudos to this establishment, never a miss with their food or drinks (the strawberry lemonade is nice, not too sweet or anything either). I’d add a picture of how good the Catfish looked, but unfortunately it’s long gone

ABSOLUTELY LOVE LARSDEN'S !!! me and my wife enjoy a meal there at least once a week . My dad was a sky chef , so I think I know good/great food when I taste it .the establishment is always clean , Food tastes great , not too salty , portions are generous , price is reasonable , ambience is nice , staff is courteous , attentive and pleasant . God Bless this place , with success and many more years of service !!!

I'm so pissed they messed up my order AGAIN so I'm leaving a review everywhere. Don't waste your time with this place. They don't even follow instructions when you order online. I asked for medium rare steak and that Grey chewy mess they served me CANNOT be called steak. A damn shame. Also why don't the grits have a lick of seasoning??? The food here is just BAD.

Definitely stop in if you like southern cooking! Everything was perfect, except I didn’t see no ghosts! I had the catfish with mashed and sweet potatoes and my friend had the meatloaf. My fish was cooked perfectly! I asked for tartar sauce—didn’t use it the breading was so flavorful. And the meatloaf was double backed with a sweet tomato sauce, it was perfect as well. And the price was very reasonable—‘soul’ or ‘southern’ cooking can be so expensive because every last thing is made from scratch,, but it was very easy on the wallet w no compromise on quality. The waitress was a sweetheart; the decor could use an update, but it’s clean, just dark. We’ll be back
