We just ordered and they did not give me what we ordered . They are liars and they are not accepting our call. I spent $400 for what? They are crocks.Kid-friendliness: I will not be taking my family there.Stay away from here . Food is not good.

Very average Indian buffet. Nothing special about it to give more stars

Had a group lunch there. Nah was good. Other than that not that many other choices.Watch out though, the restaurant already charge a 18% 'service fee'! They didn't give you a bill. You go to counter to pay. They just charged it and didn't tell you. When I asked if tip included, the answer was 'no'. Just not a decent behavior. Disappointed. Last visit from me to this place.

We went to Mantra with office colleagues for dinner around 5:30 pm. The hotel was nearly empty, with only one person handling seating and serving. The food, including pakoda, paneer chilly, bhendi kurkure, Paneer Tikka masala, and Veg Kolhapuri, was delicious. However, the service was slow and unsatisfactory. The drinks menu had many options, but besides Lassi and soda, there was nothing available. It would be helpful if the server clearly mentioned the limited choices. Instead, we had to specify that we wanted Indian soda or tea, and he informed us that they didn't have those. The service was slow, and the server seemed uninterested, making faces while taking orders. When we asked for a glass with our cold drink, he showed a poker face. The atmosphere was further dampened by the sad South Indian songs he played.A large group left after 10 minutes due to the same service issues. The management should address this concern as it could be impacting the business. While the food tasted good, service is also crucial.Additionally, there was no free Wi-Fi and only street side parking.

We went for a lunch buffet, and the food was cold and almost empty. We went around 1:30 in the afternoon, so not that late. They took 10-20 min in between just to refill the empty containers which, for me was not so great experience. Food was okay in taste, but the service was not.

Very good food. Portions are generous, great for sharing. I didn't see butter chicken in their menu, but they do have it and is very good!

We came in for lunch at the end of their lunch shift. It was winding down inside, but we had the best Indian food we've had yet in Jersey City! Super friendly staff. Heads up: they close between lunch and dinner! Pricey, but worth it for the large portions!

The food is now terrible. I'm not sure if the pandemic killed this place or what did it but the food is greasy, salty, and awful.

Food is ok not bad. Service could be a lot better. Feel like they take too long to give the food and don't really care for their clients

Food was decent. They looked like short staffed but at the same time the restaurant was also quite empty during lunch time.

The food IS Excellent! Superb! Tops! Best in class. Best in the neighborhood. I want to direct IV the Tica Masala sauce in my carotid.HOWEVER,it is as if they know not what good customer service at a restaurant is, nor do they care. Walk you to your table, attentiveness, welcoming politeness, food presentation. speed of food delivery. If only...Chances are we won't go back.Ok, maybe once a year.Maybe it's a culture and language problem. In that case, HIRE A HOST.

Dark gloomy place , food is too expensive and a very little quantity. There are a lot of other Indian restaurants that can you can visit instead of overpaying

Almost 23$ for a chicken biryani which is very mediocre. We find a RAT scurrying around in the dining area. We could barely eat anything after and rushed out duly paying the check. Service was good but I wouldn't come back after my the experience.
