Food was alright but the service was terrible.
First, they made us wait for so long to get seated even though the restaurant was empty. We saw an empty 2 seater and made us wait 15 minutes. After we were seated and finished our meal, the entire time the seat was empty. So not sure why they couldn’t seat us there in the first place.
Second, it was so hard to get any waiters attention. We couldn’t even figure out who our waiter was. Every time we were helped it was a different person because we kept on asking for their attention. You could wave your hands for a minute and nobody would probably serve you. It was that bad.

We loved Matthew’s. Our family went to brunch on a Saturday with our two toddlers after visiting the liberty science center and the food was great! They were able to fit us into a small booth even tho we didn’t have a reservation (I would definitely recommend making a reservation) I think we got lucky!
Kid-friendliness: They didn’t offer us a high chair but we were able to sit in a booth and I sat my baby in my lap.

Everything else was very yummy and I would definitely recommend this restaurant!! Greeted with very friendly staff, The food was very good except I thought the tofu scramble was underwhelming. Ordered the vegetarian breakfast, requested it to be made vegan. Good service. I liked the ambiance.

We visit this place all the time, and the food has been consistently good for the most part no complaints! I usually order the steak and eggs, which are always flavorful. Out of all my visits, I’ve only had one less-than-great steak, and that was during the summer around 3 PM. My fiancé loves the chicken and waffles, the chicken is well-seasoned and flavorful. We also sometimes get the burgers, which are exceptional, and I absolutely love the waffle fries, they’re my favorite!
Overall, this place delivers on quality and consistency, which I think is the key to a great restaurant. I have yet to be disappointed!

Expected at least an acknowledgment of the mistake whether from the chef or the waiter. None was received. Would come back for the food and atmosphere but would second guess due to the service.

Come for weekend brunch Ordered a blueberry pancakes and chicken burger The dough of pancakes is slightly soft and the outer layer is a little crispy. Paired with blueberry jam and cream, the salty and sweet mix is delicious There is syrup on the side. If it’s too dry, you can drizzle a little bit on it to match. The fried chicken skin of the burger is very crispy and the chicken is not dry. The meat is very thick and juicy, and the overall seasoning of the burger is very harmonious. The brioche bread is also very soft and delicious Only the chicken itself is slightly less tasty But overall it’s a delicious burger The fries on the side are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are delicious fries. The added scrambled eggs are moist and creamy Cappuccino coffee is delicious
I’ve walked by this place quite often, always admiring the exterior and interior thinking, “wow I really should make a point of dining here”. Tonight we ordered delivery, and let me say it was simply incredible. Took a bit longer than expected, and rather than being annoyed, we were extremely grateful as the dishes were obviously carefully prepared and packaged as if plated in house. Of course now I can’t wait to visit in person!

Mathews Food and Drink was an excellent spot for a night out! My friend and I shared a delicious pasta dish, perfectly al dente with a rich, flavorful sauce.
