The food here is delicious!!! And the staff is always very friendly and attentive. Everytime we go there is never a wait time and the music is lively. My 18 month old son also enjoys the food and ambiance in Mezcal.

Had takeout. Idk why they chanfed how they cook. Myst b a white person gentrifying mexican food. The mexican quesadillas are made with this blue corn tortilla now. It was dry. The tortilla lacked the fluffiness it used to have. Soooo disappointed as this was one of my favorite mexican places to go to. Pretty authentic. But not anymore. What a disrespect to the old way they cooked food. Will nvr irder from here again

I mean if you don't have functioning taste buds, I would come here for the food. The drinks aren't good but I mean they don't need to be when they're just straight alcohol. So if you want to get so drunk that you can't taste the food, this is the perfect place for you.
The skirt steak nachos were so good. They used fresh cheese on everything. Also the Platano fritters were good. Nice place, very clean, friendly service.

Great week day lunch specials and fantastic take out option when I'm craving Mexican food:) I've also dined in previously and the restaurant has nice ambience and cute vibes. Today, we took out pozole, birria beef burrito, and mexican corn and they were all delicious, hot, and fresh. A neighborhood gem in the JSQ area!
