They might get really mad at you if you ask questions about the menu, and they don't tolerate (seem impatient and hateful toward) neurodivergent people.
(One experience there.)

Also, the other day I was in here, a group of men were sitting inside, and a female came in wearing a dress, and these patrons all froze up, stopped talking, and stared at her--not panting for her, but looking dismayed- taken aback by the fact that her form/some skin showed (in a 'Modest' enough dress!).
The shop shouldn't allow that. I know it's hard for them to intervene in such matters... (and if a barista has his own assumption/tolerance issues, why would He.), but- no subtly enforced gender segregation please (i.e., intimidation, making a female stranger feel uncomfortable).
(It's a very common phenomenon; cognizant females know what's up--they encounter that all the time. Coffee shops are a Locus for this kind of uni-gendered hanging out in a way to make female patrons feel unwelcome. Check City Cafe and Grill for example.)

One of the best coffee shops around Jersey. They have some great selections and the baristas have good knowledge on coffee.

The drinks are excellent - the espresso is very smooth and lacks that bitter flavor that a lot of bigger places have. The folks working there have all been very kind and friendly. I need to swing by earlier so I can actually hang out here. One critique I have is that you seem to be a queer-friendly establishment - please work on pronouns and don't assume nonbinary/gender bending folks prefer to be addressed as ma'am. No offense - that just isn't my preference.

Good service, good coffee and chill vibes. Not sure what else you could ask for in a cafe.

This is the best coffee shop roasting the best coffee in potentially the entire world. The coffee here tastes different than 99% of the cafes I've ever been to in my life (maybe over 200) and is a coffee lover's dream.

Try the Kyoto cold brew, grab some beans, and support this business that absolutely LOVES coffee.

100/10 rating and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We we're passing by and decided to visit this coffee shop, that was a good decision. The place itself was very nice and cute. I specifically lived the little live flowers in mini vases on almost each table. That was a very gentle and cute touch.
British guy (he probably is the owner) served us. We had 1 iced latte, 1 earl gray loose tea, and an apple turnover (which didn't was without cinnamon, the way we like).
Late and tea were very good. The apple turnover was very-very fresh, and swmi sweet (I believe it didn't even have sugar added, just a sweet apple or maybe very little sugar). It tastes amazing.
Tea selection was poor which is understandable, because mostly people prefer coffee. My choices were turmeric and ginger or Earl Gray. I love earl gray, so no problem there for me.
Bathrooms were very clean and pretty, actually.
I recommend visiting Modcup coffee. It has nice sitting area whether you come for a cup of coffee or to work on your laptop. There are plenty of outlets to charge out phone or other devices, cozy sitting.
Also they sell Tshirts, mugs etc here.

This is the best coffee in Jersey City. It's not a great location but the shop is nice and usually quiet.

The place has got a chill vibe and the barista is a super sweet girl. Got the iced maple cinnamon coffee and the regular drip coffee. They were both underwhelming. The espresso shot wasn’t strong enough for the iced coffee and the drip one was bitter as hell (they don’t keep sweeteners to add per liking). They charge you extra for the single use cup, which is a bit ridiculous considering it’s a coffee shop. Additional charge if you’re paying by card. Anywho, there are better options around for coffee imo.

Their coffee is good. But the their new Baristas are horrible. I had a female barista, who was so sloppy and got the order wrong despite me mentioning it multiple times. They just don’t care for your order. They do charge $6.50 for a cup of latte. They better serve customers accordingly.

Their six ounce espresso and milk will be the best cup of coffee you’ll have this year.

I was in town staying with a friend in the building, every morning I would walk downstairs and grab a cup of coffee and breakfast snack, I really enjoyed the flavor and attention to the detail the service representatives gave me, highly recommend!
