Black owned business in a rundown section of Jersey City that hosts free jazz every Friday and Sunday night. No food, no cover, but a 2 drink minimum. This venue should be packed on music nights due to the high quality musical offerings. It suffers from lack of parking nearby and need for better air conditioning. There is a GoFundMe page ongoing to help keep Moore's Place operational.

THE uthentic jazz experience in the North East. The atmosphere, the improv to performances and the ambiance is phenomenal. I hope this place never goes away. Just come and experience it for yourself you will never forget it. If you are in NYC or in NJ ,make the trip.

Best LIVE JAZZ Entertainment! Owner Miss Ruth is host to the best cats in NJ/NY. There is no better way to spend an evening than enjoying drinks while listening to these talented musicians. Can’t believe there is no cover for such a great show.
