Based on my experience there, I loved it but I’m hesitant to give five stars cause I only had the ribeye cheesesteak which may be one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had out in NJ in all seriousness. Felt a little pricey but so does everything else these days. Even then, the cheesesteak was worth every cent. Highly recommended.

This establishment culturally appropriates other cuisines as Israeli, (flan and schnitzel are not Israeli) When inquiring about their stance on Palestine, our office was blocked via phone and instagram The owner is proudly Zionist and this business supports the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Also overpriced.

Best sandwiches in Jersey City!

I’ve ordered here once and I loved the food. I went for the first time in person & I’m scared to eat the food ! The staff was so rude… the old black lady to be specific. The way she spoke about the customers (in their face) bringing them service was crazy! It quite literally made me sick. She needs to grow up and make something with her life! 50 working in a sandwich spot.

We order catering from Mordi’s often and we have never had a bad review from our meeting staff.

Theres time I swing by and grab dinner for my family after work and my kids love it! His staff is always kind and service is smooth.

Mordi’s has some of the best sandwiches in Jersey City. The chicken parm and Cuban are my go-to but pretty much anything on the menu is a hit. Plus the people and the vibe there are A1!

I love their sandwiches — they’re so delicious.
But charging extra for just a little sauce as a spread feels unnecessary. Once, I ordered the Americano sandwich and asked for extra garlic aioli, and they charged me $1 for it. I mean, sure, charge me, but a teaspoon of garlic mixed with mayo isn’t worth $1. If it were a small 2 oz plastic ramekin cup, okay, I’d be fine with it.
It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you see these kinds of extra charges on your bill.
