So glad I found this place! Just a short walk from Grove Street PATH station.
The owner is Malaysian and so welcoming – you can really feel the warmth the moment you walk in. ❤️

Had a great meal on a Sunday night here. Service was quick and portions were large. Ordered a bunch for the table but my favorites were the choy kuen teow and the hainan chicken
Didn’t expect to find solid Malaysian food this good in JC.
The kangkung belachan alone is worth coming back for. Perfect wok flavor and super fresh. The Hainanese chicken was a big portion (half chicken, still couldn’t finish it). The yellow rice that comes with it is so flavorful you can eat it plain.
The curry stingray casserole was a highlight — huge portion, very hot when it came out, and the curry soaked into everything. Great with rice. We also tried Singapore mei fun with shrimp and a few sushi rolls — everything tasted fresh and made to order.
Good portions, fair prices, and the staff were kind (they brought hot water because it was freezing outside). Place filled up quickly after opening. Solid neighborhood spot.

Came here specifically for the Hainanese chicken rice, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was incredibly tender with smooth, flavorful skin, and the rice was fragrant and rich with chicken fat—exactly how it should be. Easily one of the better Hainanese chicken dishes I’ve had in NJ.
We also tried the Garam-style prawns, which were garlicky and addictive, and the Bak Kut Teh was warm and comforting. Definitely a spot worth coming back to, especially for the Hainanese chicken.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a great dining experience here! The food was full of flavor and very well prepared, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from — everything we tried was delicious. The menu offers a great mix, so there’s something for everyone, whether you like lighter dishes or more rich, savory flavors.
The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
This place is perfect for coming with friends or family to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable meal together. We’ll definitely be back!

We had read a lot about the Hainanese chicken, so we were super excited to try it—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I agree with all the previous reviews that this is the best Hainanese chicken you can find in Jersey City. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the rice paired perfectly with it. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Drove all the way from New Hampshire just to eat this and it’s worthy of the drive. Singaporean authorized.
