Not fancy but very cozy. Have only been there once but the fish sandwich was so delicious! Fast and friendly service. Also very reasonable prices. Will definitely go back and can’t wait to try their whiting and grits.
Didn't think they still made places like this. Delicious breakfast food, reasonable prices. Open at 6am or maybe earlier. Unbelievably nice service. Many people who came in were regulars and the manager knew their names and orders, but she was extra sweet to me, too, a stranger. Real maple syrup. I wish I had this in my neighborhood.
This is a typical hood restaurant. Very friendly service and excellent food at a super economical price. Do not expect nothing else. If you are looking for a fancy place, go to downtown JC. But if you are looking for good home made food and do not mind blending in the neighborhood I definitely recommend Nick's.
