Not worth it - go somewhere else. The food looked like it was sitting out in their heating trays for quite some time and none of it was fresh.
We got the jerk chicken and fried fish platters. The chicken had some flavor for the first few bites but after that it was quite bland and just greasy. The fried plantains were basically cardboard. The fish wasn't too bad and was probably the best tasting thing we got. The cornbread was hard but the flavor was good.
The inside was quite cramped and it was hot in there, even on an October evening. So hot that the person prepping the food was completely drenched and dripping in sweat - definitely not the kind of seasoning you want falling into those old warming trays lol.

I had high hopes for this spot and was really in the mood for roti and stew chicken. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. Having tried roti and stew chicken at many places, I can confidently say this was not it.
The roti was supposed to be dhalpuri, but there were no split peas inside, and the texture was rubbery. The stew chicken tasted undercooked, with seasoning that seemed to be just tomato and salt, lacking the depth of flavor you’d expect.
The potatoes that came with it were bland, and there was no chana or anything else to round out the dish.
For the price, it felt completely underwhelming. Sadly, I can’t recommend it.

This place has a 4.9 rating on Grubhub. The food really is excellent, right down to the puri (really dalpuri) and pepper sauce. Even the carrot cake was great. Wish they made doubles and palouries. The only meh item was the okra.

I've been going to Nicole's since 2004. Their food is never a disappointment. Best Caribbean food in jersey city. I moved to Newark and I will go to jersey to get the best Caribbean food.

The first time I had to add seasoning to Caribbean food😬 Also very dry beef patties. Pricing is decent for the amount served, for the lunch special at least. But I feel like there are better options in the Jersey City area

AMAZING food, the jerk chicken is to die for. Honestly some of the best I've ever had. The staff is so friendly and attentive and I cannot recommend this place enough. Also - they had a cameo in the movie "A Complete Unknown", the movie about Bob Dylan! So cool!

Very dishonest people I will never ever go there again overcharged me by 200% never again‼️
For years, I have been a loyal customer and have never been dissatisfied! Food offerings are simply delicious. 🎉
Kid-friendliness: It’s a family business and there are very friendly and courteous.

The food is decent, and the prices are fair—not too cheap, not too pricey. The food was good, and they have daily specials. It’s not really a dine-in spot, though—seating is limited, and everything is served in takeout containers with plastic utensils.
