Full waste of money
I ordered chill cheese paratha and sweet lassi. Chilli Cheese paratha is really good, though the sweet lassi wasn't much different from the water especially when it costs $5, it's better to drink water!!!
Veg biryani -> less biryani but more food color, definitely worth for a holi event.
Tasty good food,
Feels a bit like home food for a South Indian - lesser salt and oil.
It’s a bit expensive in my opinion for NJ.
The service was good and the interiors are ok.
It’s also open late night - so not more to ask.
We tried the paratha and it looked/tasted good. The baingan was awesome!
If late night, would come back for sure.

I have been a big fan of the place and really like that for authentic Punjabi flavours. But on the recent visit something felt a miss. I ordered the keema matar with roti. The keema was completely flavourless may be because the dish has been taken off the menu and the chef did it just for me. But some of the menu changes also seem to be very recent. There used to be an old Punjabi lady in charge of the kitchen. She wasn't there either and when I asked nobody really had an answer

Less quantity high price
Very less taste.
Finally it’s a right place to get disappointed!
Only reason for leaving 2 stars is they opened late night.

Restaurantji Recommends
We visited three people and had Partha and tea, but that tea was the worst! It tasted like plain hot water, no tea powder or milk at all. I’ve never had such a strange tea before.
I ordered a Jain paneer bhurji(no onion, no garlic) and a cheese paratha via Doordash.
The paneer bhurji had onion and garlic in it. I got a chili cheese paratha instead of a cheese paratha. The restaurant did not get our order correct.
I called the restaurant to get a replacement paneer bhurji as I could not eat a curry with onion and garlic. I talked to Rajiv. He was very helpful and understanding. He sent a replacement Paneer Bhurji via Doordash with a complimentary cheese paratha for the trouble.
This time, the correct order was delivered. Unfortunately, the curry was made with too much haldi and no mirchi. It did not taste good. I would not order paneer bhurji from here again. The cheese paratha was good.
