I’ve been on a hot dog kick lately and recently found out about Boulevard Drinks, so my husband and I decided to drop in on a Saturday at around 11:30. The place is a hole in the wall. But it’s always the dingy looking places that have the best food. I’m not sure there were even any seats. We just stood next to the counter and ate, which you need to anyway because they’re meant to be eaten fresh. We ordered a cheese dog with sweet onions, and a spicy sausage with sweet onions. Each topping is 50 cents, so it can add up and you may end up paying $5 for a hot dog. But worth it for a once in a while treat. The hot dog was good but I liked the sausage a lot more. Both have a similar taste but the sausage is bigger and snappier. We ended up ordering another spicy sausage afterwards, but this time with chili. This one was pretty heavy so I’m glad we shared. Unpopular opinion, but I think a chili cheese dog would have been too much. Glad we got to check this place out!

So glad my buddy GT said to check this place out. Absolutely the best corn dog creation in the world. He said he’s by here weekly to get one since they are so good.

I was born and raised in JC and I can remember going here with my father back in the late 70s or early 80s .They became my favorite hot dog Stand . I moved out of JC in 89 and just about Everytime I am close I have to swing by for a couple with Mustard Chill and onions .Taste the same as it did 40 plus years ago .??

Classic Jersey City! The best grilled hot dogs in NJ. Always crave them.. Chili and onions a big favorite in our group. Sauerkraut with mustard good too!
