My daughter makes me drive her here for the bowls. I tasted it and the food was very fresh.

Go-to poke in jersey city. Tried all other places. This is worth the price

Please do not let the positive reviews encourage you to eat here. I ordered via Caviar. I did not order any raw fish but my "bowl"arrived in a damp paper box with a pretty fishy smell. I took one bite and immediately spit it out. There was clearly something rancid in my bowl. I'm so shocked that this place has such a high rating but serves spoiled food like this. I'm really disappointed by this and wish I never ordered from this establishment. If you're like me and you have a favorite local poke spot, do not cheat on them with this place! I learned my lesson and I will never order from here again.

They are very kind inside, but it’s not as good as it used to be. The fish is usually pretty fresh but not all of their ingredients are as pristine as the past. The rice is often stale which is a shame. The best poke in JC to me still, but better options around

Pokay is a cute restaurant located in the heart of downtown Jersey City. I ended up picking up my poke bowl to go and it was amazing! There is a large variety of toppings to choose from. Considering I picked this up 45 min before closing the fish still tasted nice and fresh. The interior is also so cute! Price wise this was an affordable option as it was under 20 dollars for a very filling dinner.

The best poke that you could ever want. Amazing food, nice atmosphere, great staff.

Pretty impressive and special poke! Become one of my favorite in NJ area.

Salmon was gray, tasted old and reeked of old fishy smell. Huge long fish bones makes me think they don't clean their fish well. Small portion. Wouldn't recommend.

Best poke in JC !

Wasn't particularly great. The food was ok and a bit over priced. The value here is a bit lower. It's sort of close to Grove Street but kind of a walk. I wouldn't be upset if I had it again. But wouldn't recommend it.

Best poke I’ve had in forever. Everything is really fresh and you get good portions. Was ready fast!

Best poke I've had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and there was a perfect amount of sauce and toppings, and a generous amount of fish. Also the temperature was perfect. Some places have rice that is too hot so the salmon gets too warm, which I think is gross! Also it was prepared and ready super fast.

Ordered takeout. Both the poke bowls very very dry. I even told them to add extra sauce but it was not good. Will not order again from here.

Was craving poke and saw great reviews for this Poke spot, so decided to get take-out. The portion is very big, so definitely enough for a meal. However, I don't think the taste is there. I've tried other poke spots in NYC, and they're much better than this spot. I probably wouldn't go back again.

Very small portion of seafood and half the ingredients were missing. I have ordered poke bowls from several local spots and this was my first time ordering from here. I asked for salad and 2tbps brown rice, it arrived with no rice and barely 1 tablespoon of seafood. Complete rip off and disappointing for a $15 bowl. Won't be ordering from here again.
