We had an office party there a few days ago on the ground floor. Staff was friendly and pizza and other food items were tasty.

I’ve been to Porta with groups big, small, and even on my own. The food is just so good. All the pasta dishes are amazing. I know they’re known for their pizza, which is great, but the pasta—and especially the ricotta and meatballs—are top-tier.

They also have my favorite drinks in the area. All the “door” drinks are amazing, especially the White Door. I could drink like 10 of those, and on weekdays during happy hour, it would even be very reasonably priced!

It’s a really great place—and actually huge inside. In the summer, I love sitting on the roof.

Accidentally left my debit card here and called to confirm i could pick it up. Was unable to return due to distance so after a week or so, someone here decided to use my card to buy a new ipad or something from the upper west side apple store in nyc for $1195.44. Thanks a lot you trash person. Next time just cut up the cards that are left behind. Its not an excuse to spend someone elses money.

Finally REAL pizza for someone allergic to cow's milk, but there was a little bit of cross- so be warned. Also, don't waste your money on the arugula side unless you are ok with a bowl of dry arugula. I jazzed it up by putting it on top of my pizza. My husband said the Carbonara Pizza was tasty, but he did not enjoy how runny it was with egg. I would suggest lightly scrambling the egg and lightly frying it (I know carbonara is all about raw egg on hot pasta normally, but it's going on pizza). Also, bread and butter or garlic and oil should be complimentary. Our server was excellent!

Vegetarian options: Great vegan offerings, but not on the dessert menu.

Parking: Great, walkable neighborhood starting to get decorated for the end of the year holidays.

Kid-friendliness: Kid's covered cups and coloring pages offered. Just need your own crayons.

Wheelchair accessibility: Did not notice if ramps or an
elevator was available. Bathrooms were downstairs.

The mushroom risotto was delicious, and the pizza was good, though nothing out of the ordinary. We also tried a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, a nice dining experience.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have two entrances, one with stairs and other with the wheelchair accessibility.

Psychotic bouncers. Bad drinks. The worst bouncers in the United States. Would not recommend. I would put this top 10 worst bars in the US because of how they treated us. Repulsive place. Do not go here, seriously. This is the definition of dirty jersey

Run away 😊🥂

I read the many reviews before coming here which complained about the lack of attentiveness of the servers. I can confirm this is true. Went about a week ago and like others said, hardly anyone else was eating there (it was past lunch time but too early to be dinner time, so not many people are eating at this time). Took 20 minutes for the server to greet us & bring us water & take our orders. I ordered the meatballs & a margherita pizza. The food thankfully didn’t take long to come out, & the meatballs were very good. The pizza was the issue tho. It was good, but a margherita pizza should have way more than just 2 basil leaves on it! Additionally, we were a table of 6 & he only brought us one bottle of water, so of course we did run out of water & nobody came & brought us a new bottle. Overall, not a horrible experience but I wouldn’t return either.

We waited 55 minutes for the lemon ricotta pancakes and they never arrived. Our waiter was pretty dismissive and borderline rude. We had to leave as we ran out of time. We won't be coming back.

The food itself, if served, is actually pretty good.
