A 25hour Pizza spot in Jersey City.
A great place to enjoy flavorful food and experience good service
The host was quite rude upon entry as well as some of the wait staff. We are Asian and could not help but feel that we were being treated differently. The food itself was quite mediocre, it was not bad but it was not great. I’ve had better Italian food and dining experiences in this area.
I came here with my sister to celebrate our friend's birthday. Porto did not disappoint! We started witha cocktail each and the waiter had the bartender make a special drink for our friend....she was ecstatic with her Espresso Martini with Baileys to make a new drink. My sister had the Lemon Martini and I had the Manhattan....all were expertly made and delicious. We didn't order appetizers but enjoyed the bread with Olive Oil to dip it. We each ordered different items so we could taste each others. Our friend had the Butternut squash ravioli the butter sage sauce...we all said we'd come back for that alone! My sister had the short rib....it was fall-off your fork tender and the flavors exceptional. I had the lamb shank that came with risotto. This was the best lamb shank I've had yet. I'm not usually a risotto person but it was so good that I ate all of it!! We were all stuffed and this was just at lunchtime. I'll definitely return. The service is unbelievably perfect...our waiter was the best!
I visited this restaurant for a business event on a week day. We were a large party and it was decided to serve a fixed menu where only the main could be picked. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. It was also way too much and full untouched plates of the starters were brought back to the kitchen. The meat-based main (filet mignon) I picked was actually the nicest part of the meal. I did not like the tiramisu, it was just soaked with something but did not taste like coffee. The staff seemed somewhat stressed and not always as polite as one would expect, but I take it is hard to manage a party of 30.
We went there during peak dinner hours, and there were only three seated tables. However, the host turned us away. He said reservations only, but there was no way to make a reservation on their website either. Interesting if he turned us away because of biases 🙃
One of my favorite places in JC. Love the surprise appetizer they usually bring before the meal, the food is consistently food and the tiramisu is incredible.
This restaurant is a class act with a warm vibe. The cream of mushroom soup and chicken scarpariello are must haves!

Nice Christmas atmosphere with candles and music. Service is polite. Food average. Prosecco disappointing.

I’ve tried this place a few times and just disappointed each time. If you must go, get the halibut. Apps, pasta, and dessert have all had issues. Not sure how the Chef can taste the Halibut and think the other items are on par with it. Hope there’s an intervention with the rest of the menu.

Go for lamb shank but for duck. For me duck is like undercooked.

Really need to take the caprese salad off the menu until you can get edible tomatoes. This one was barely pink and had the flavor of cardboard.
