I came here with my sister to celebrate our friend's birthday. Porto did not disappoint! We started witha cocktail each and the waiter had the bartender make a special drink for our friend....she was ecstatic with her Espresso Martini with Baileys to make a new drink. My sister had the Lemon Martini and I had the Manhattan....all were expertly made and delicious. We didn't order appetizers but enjoyed the bread with Olive Oil to dip it. We each ordered different items...
I visited this restaurant for a business event on a week day. We were a large party and it was decided to serve a fixed menu where only the main could be picked. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. It was also way too much and full untouched plates of the starters were brought back to the kitchen. The meat-based main (filet mignon) I picked was actually the nicest part of the meal. I did not like the tiramisu, it was just soaked with something but did not taste like coffee....
I’ve tried this place a few times and just disappointed each time. If you must go, get the halibut. Apps, pasta, and dessert have all had issues. Not sure how the Chef can taste the Halibut and think the other items are on par with it. Hope there’s an intervention with the rest of the menu.
