Finally came here with my husband after 6 years living in the neighborhood. Good food, very filling and prices were reasonable. I got the fried chicken with rice and beans which was very good. My husband got the special with chicken on the grill, cheese, rice and plaintain. It was very delicious . They were super busy here so the ladies did take some time bringing the food out to us but it’s expected as it was busy nonstop when we arrived. So have some Grace if you’re expecting...
We found this hidden gem in one of our trips to NJ/NY about 2 years ago! And let me tell you… we LOVE it!! The food and service is amazing! We have made this our to go place whenever we go to NJ! (We live in VA)No regrets! You have to try it! I’ll say there is a little bit of wait, but everywhere you go now a days has a wait! The soups and Baleadas(flour tortillas with beans, cheese and mantequilla) are delicious!!
It is a very authentic food place, it was the first time I visited this restaurant in the company of my husband and I liked it, just a couple of observations: they must follow the customer service protocol at the tables since one has to get up to even ask for the bill because they don't come back. From there everything is fine.
