Food was ok, setting was not ideal giving the emptiness of the restaurant would prefer the booth but overall was ok for last minute dinner

Mario was super funny and made our daughter's birthday celebration very special. We had a lovely experience.

Very reluctant to post this review. My family goes out of our way to locate Ruth's Chris where ever we are (even in Baton Rouge). Never had a bad experience until we visited the Jersey City location. It was my sister's birthday and we were seated across from a family that had over 20 members and at least 10 kids under 5 years old. They were celebrating a bday as well. The children were allowed to run around, go in and out of a room next to where they were sitting. The distraction was very frustrating. Our server had to help the large group and had no choice to give us limited attention. I was not happy with my drink after one zipped and returned it. I explained my dissatisfaction to a manager who couldn't care less and just walked away. Will never go to this location. Was extremely disappointed for her bday. However, will frequent all the other locations. The franchise is great but not this location.

Alright let me try to keep this under the 2000 character limit. Might be tough since I'm not sure I can offer sufficient praise without going over. But let's give it a shot. Let's start with the walk in. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were greeted very warmly by the hostess. She asked if we were celebrating any special occasions so we told her. Received a very nice "Happy Anniversary" from her as well as a staff member beside her. We sat down and observed the beautiful atmosphere since we've never been to this location before. A few seconds later the kind gentleman who was next to the hostess showed up and introduced himself as Killian. This young man is the waiter you pray you get when you're seated at a restaurant...kind, attentive, knowledgeable and every other positive character trait you'd want your waiter to exhibit. Killian took the time to go over the specials, his own recommendations(including the Knob & Creek Old Fashioned which was amazing), and REPEATEDLY made sure we were aware of the plates being extremely hot and to be careful! Speaking with Killian was an experience in itself. My wife and I loved him. He takes pride in what he does and we were lucky to share our anniversary with him. Enough can't be said about him. Everything was great and to top it off he told us that if we book again with Open Table we can actually request him as a waiter. That blew my mind and knowing that we can request him....we're definitely coming back! Oh nice that was under 2000 characters. Oh and the food was great too! Wow the fact that my wife and I spent more time talking about how great Killian was and less time on the food is NOT a knock on the food by any means. The food was amazing. My wife and I both got NY strips, and for the sides we got the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The spinach is out of this world. We also received a complimentary anniversary cheesecake! But Killian was the MVP for sure. Ok just made it under 2000 :)

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Ruth’s Steak House thanks to our amazing waiter, Killian. He was kind, attentive, and gave us great food recommendations. He even surprised us with complimentary champagne and dessert, which made the night extra special. Highly recommend asking for Killian!

I recommend the baked potato(bacon still sizzling and cheese shredded by hand!) and creamed spinach (best I've ever had; it's creamy without being heavy or overly thickened) for sides. I love that the simpler seasoning allows the flavor of the steak to shine. Our server Killian was an absolute delight and the service generally was flawless.

The service was exemplary. Killian who served us was very accommodating and fun to talk with.I appreciate the manager’s accommodation as well. This is my 4th time visited this location and the hospitality never changed. Definitely will recommend this location and comeback to any of our important celebrations.

My wife and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Ruth Chris in Jersey City, and it could not have been a more perfect evening. From the moment we sat down, our server Killian went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. His professionalism, warm personality, and genuine attention to detail made the night extra special. Killian's recommendations were spot on. The cremini mushrooms were absolutely delicious, and the pomegranate martini was the perfect complement to the meal. He guided us with thoughtfulness and never rushed us, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our evening. This was my first time ever dining at Ruth Chris. Dining at Ruth Chris was an absolute treat, but Killian truly elevated our experience. He turned a wonderful meal into an unforgettable anniversary celebration. I hope management recognizes what a gem they have in him, because service like this is rare. We will absolutely be returning and asking for Killian!

Booked an early dinner for my husband's birthday and had a great experience. Food was delicious but the service was what made it extra special. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming, especially Kimberly who was looking after our table

Ruth Chris is amazing Restaurant. Very classy and elegant and upscale. Service was great always check on you making sure you're comfortable. My waiter Dana B. Was awesome

Food was delicious and so flavorful. Only thing competing with the food when it comes to quality was our waiter Dana, incredibly helpful and friendly. Been living in the area for 2 years and upset it took me this long to visit…will be back!
