This place used to be a favorite Egyptian style sea food spot. Not sure what happened, but food taste has gotten to about below/decent. had the sea food soup, bronzini fish and shrimp tagin, everything was too salty, nothing tasted fresh. Also the seafood rice wasn’t what it used to be either!

The women's are running this seafood business, and they're doing a good job. ?? But I would suggest them to add at least salad on the side along with the orders, because the food I ordered came with no sauce or salad or bread, nothing and it charged me about 40$ which was branzini fish and for the rice it charged me separately which is fine, but salad & sauce should be given as complimentary, or Pita bread.
Attaching the pics, the sauce U see, I had to grab it from another restaurant called Shadman, if no sauce or salad, the fish would taste bland.

Move over, Astoria--this unremarkable street block offers enough casual Arabic seafood spots to make any Queens resident take notice. And as a bonus, it has not yet been "discovered" by the Yelp Elite / food influencer crowd (besides yours truly).
The Alexandrian Style Shrimp was huge and delicious, but the Grilled Branzino (and really, any whole grilled fish) is the big, belting diva of the menu and one you should not miss. Whole, ground spices are packed into every bite care of lovely marinade, and your teeth will rejoice at how tender the meat is. Entrees all come with generous, complimentary portions of salad, tahini and pita, as well as lots of fluffy rice, so you can't walk away hungry.
The prices are on the higher side, sadly--it seems nowhere is immune to inflation these days--but at least you'll get a ton of bang for your buck.

If the restaurant manager is not present, the food is bad. I ordered a casserole and it came all filled with oil, with no vegetables, and burnt on top. I previously ate the meal there when the restaurant manager was there and it was excellent, but now it is bad

Everything on the menu is slamming ? used to be hooked ordering delivery back to back.
I moved twice since then and both times I was thirsty checking delivery apps to see if I could get it from my new address (in Elizabeth then Newark)
The garlic shrimp are to die for and the grilled branzino (meanwhile I’m not even a big fish person, love seafood but fish can be hit or miss, especially grilled but it slaps lol). I’ve had their fried branzino too and it was also good but the grilled was better. I would break the bank getting the shrimp and grilled branzino cause it was all so good ?
Brought the shrimp to a pot luck and everyone was obsessed.
Never have been there in person but need to take a trip because I miss them real bad.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The flavor is out of this world! I got the grilled branzino fish with salad, tahini, and rice. The fish was fried to perfection with the most rich flavor of amazing spices. Service was also awesome—everyone was so kind and helpful in helping me decide what to order. They recommended this dish and I am so happy they did! Will be back soon to try the other dishes (like the orata fish!)! Thank you so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
