This is a very nice restaurant, very quaint and has a very nice family feel to it. The food was very good. I definitely recommend the cauliflower appetizer and the squash entrée. But everything was very good. Our server was excellent. If you're in the neighborhood, you need to give this place a try.
Great food and service. Parmesan truffle cream sauce absolutely amazing. A little loud, but they were full up so it's understandable with that many people. Recommended.
Very nice family brunch. Excellent, professional service and a delightful, comfortable ambiance in a beautiful neighborhood.
The food is pretty average and we waited quite a while. Ordered the steak and eggs medium rare and came out well done and stiff.
The restaurant is located just a few south of the USPS, there was ample street parking and the light rail is nearby. As it was rainy and cool, the vast outdoor seating area was not open, but Satis was not crowded when we arrived for our 6:30 reservation and we were immediately seated. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The wines and cocktails offered were varied (the bar area is a gem and reminded me of speakeasy). The service was excellent from the host, to server and support staff. The meals were good but not consistent. The pasta dish was large and the beef tender, but the sauce needed more flavor, while the potato crusted halibut was cooked perfectly and had a delicious sauce on the side, but the crust had too much salt for my taste. I would go to Satis again and look forward to sitting outside.
The mushroom croquets, as well as the Buratta with eggplant caponata, were devine. The pork tenderloin, which had an amazing mustard cream sauce, was cooked perfectly. The salmon with a light sundried tomato puree was flaky and tender. Drinks were well mixed and very tasty. The pistachio cheesecake and whiskey bread pudding were a perfect end to a great meal with family. The ambience was inviting for a Sunday at 6pm. The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Definitley coming back here!
We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch. Everything was perfect including the weather. Thank you Satis for another memorable meal.
Great spot - solid food and a nice European cafe atmosphere, especially when the weather is nice enough to sit on the patio!
Satis put together a phenomenal experience for their tasting menu. Excellent food and wine, and excellent attention and service by the team.
Everything was excellent. With a beautiful wine list too!!!

Wonderful dinner restaurant in Jersey City. We drove up from Philadelphia to have dinner with local family. For starters, there's an intimate bar attached to the main restaurant that has delectable selections. The main restaurant is a bi-level intimate restaurant atmosphere. Appetizers menu is plentiful with some great offerings. We ordered the Duck Croquettes, Crab Cakes, Potatoes, and Tomatoe Heirloom salad. Apps alone would have made an awesome dining experience. Main dishes we're hearty and flavor profiles were phenomenal.
I'd highly suggest Satis for date night or professional dinner with colleagues.
Parking: Street parking is quite restrictive with the north Jersey Parking rules. Find a garage nearby to ensure your car won't be ticked or towed

Satis is a neighborhood gem. Its staff are professional and friendly. We're always greeted with open arms. The food is prepared with a thoughtful process which shows in the presentation. The menu is varied from the mealtime staple of French Fries to the exotic Tuna Crudo and Duck Croquettes. A favorite of mine is the pappardelle pasta with succulent short ribs in a garlicky tomato sauce. It never disappoints. The fish is always cooked to perfection. And the chef's creativity never disappoints, from wasabi sorbet and pink pineapple sorbet is refreshing and exquisite!
The owner, Theo, was so welcoming to us. We went with another couple and everyone loved it. It's a beautiful interior. The portions are huge, so might do more sharing next time. Lovely place.
The place was very busy at Friday night but they have managed reasonably well. Mussels and various seafood were well prepared, and the Langidoc wine was excellent.
