I ordered a sticky toffee pudding cake from the Christmas special dessert menu from Scram and it had to be one of the best things the whole family has ever had! It came with caramel sauce and crisped up to perfection in the oven. The sugar balance was immaculate—not too sweet, and even though it was to emulate a pudding, the cake texture was light with crackly edges and delivered a cozy bite each time. To put the cherry on top, I had to change my pickup time at the last minute and Melanie was EXTREMELY accommodating. A true marker of a community-forward, attentive business-owner. Jersey City is lucky to have Scram + team! If not for the delicious, out-of-this-world pastries and desserts, then for their A-Team service!

Was suggested by a local to try this place back in November 2023. It was a good recommendation, really enjoyed their selection of doughnuts and egg sandwich with fontina cheese!

With only 4 hours of operation a day, it feels like they want their clientele to grab their food & SCRAM. A bit too exclusive for my taste—great food, just zero availability

The best egg sandwich in Jersey City! The soft scrambled eggs come out perfect every time! And the pastry selection is always on point, with plenty of rotating and repeat options. Have tried the sausage, bacon, and pimento sandwiches and all are amazing!

Very cute local spot! Had an almond and apple pastry that was spectacular, and the staff are extremely friendly and quick to help answer questions.

Had a cappuccino and wasn’t a huge fan of the coffee. The espresso flavor was very light and I think they used a bit too much milk.

Met a friend here, couldn’t decide on which sweet pastries to get and the person at the register helped us without skipping a beat! We ordered the chorizo breakfast sandwich, mushroom breakfast sandwich, cider cruller, cinnamon roll, and matcha lattes. The breakfast sandwiches were definitely the best out of the bunch. Flakey buttery biscuits and flavorful gooey egg inside. The matcha latte was also very good - standard satisfaction, macadamia milk was a nice change. The cruller had a bit of a fry oil taste to it which I didn’t love but past that I did enjoy the crispy outside texture and the subtle apple/ autumn flavor. The cinnamon roll was a let down - very doughy bordering on dry. Cinnamon and cheesecake frosting were not as strong/ punchy as I had hoped for. But dipping it in the matcha latte was nice! Overall great ambience inside - great place to catch up and grab a bite, but consider going somewhere else for the sweet treats!

Scram has a touch of authenticity and warm cozy vibes that are hard to find in cafés nowadays. You feel like you’re walking into a Hallmark card when you come get your breakfast here. The staff is friendly, the food is always on point and the bakery serves fresh pastries and baked goods daily. I feel fortunate to have this place so close. It gets really busy on the weekends though!

Good bakery, tends to be busy when you want to go. Service workflow can probably be better

I’ve always loved this spot and the food is still great. Lately though, the coffee, which is the main reason why I come here, hasn’t been as consistent, and the drinks take a while to get. I am sharing this because I really value this spot and hope to see it return to its usual high standard

The coffee here was unfortunately pretty disappointing. The sandwiches were theoretically tasty - incredibly fluffy eggs and perfectly toasted bread, but even though there were jalapeños in the egg scramble, it still felt surprisingly bland. I also tried the sausage sandwich, and the sausage tasted like it had been boiled rather than pan-fried or browned on a griddle, which didn’t give any points to the sandwich
