The staff told me I can’t use the bathroom before I place an order. It never happened to me before and I didn’t feel like explaining that I need to remove my retainer before I order food. I believe this practice should be illegal! Shame on you Starbucks for not allowing customers to use bathroom before placing an order!

I don’t live in Jersey city but I come here to get coffee and this is the second time I came here within months and they don’t have half-and-half or heavy cream. If you are ordering a regular coffee, you should be told there’s only milk. The employee told me, didn’t you see that there was no cream where the sugar is. You buy coffee you walk down where the sugar and cream is and that’s what you expect. You don’t go there first to make sure they have it.It’s a waste of time to go there. Choose another location.

This Starbucks is a little unusual—the staff can be slow & distracted on their phones, & the customers are either loud or argumentative. You’d think the scenic view out front would set a calmer vibe, but not here…. Besides that, love the NYC skyline view the location offers
I ordered a salted caramel iced latte and the cold foam is barely there. Feels just like cold milk with barely any coffee.

I’ve ordered this custom drink (with extra soy milk and extra matcha cream) many times at various Starbucks locations in NYC and NJ, and it has always come full — until I visited the Starbucks at Waterfront in Jersey City. Today, I received a drink that was barely half full (photo attached, the one on the right), and when I showed the staff how other stores prepared it( 2nd picture), barista (Mia or Maya) rudely insisted that everyone else was wrong and only she was doing it “right.”
Rather than listening or offering a solution, she was dismissive and unprofessional. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a drink and not receive the full amount — especially when it’s consistently been done correctly elsewhere. Customer service matters, and this location really needs to work on that.
