I shop here all the time due to the proximity of where I live. I would always get racist undertones every time I enter this store, especially when I come in only in PJs. I understand that PJs are not as presentable, but I’m just going in and out the store to buy ingredients for baking needs or ingredients for breakfast. The products that I buy are usually consistent, considering I’m a regular. Today however, was my breaking point to write this review. On one of my regular breakfast errand trips, I picked up ingredients for my morning. Some meat, avocados, OJ, Bread, some biscuits, espresso coffee grinds, and my two favorite choices of milk which is half and half and whipping cream. At the checkout the cashier straight up asked me if I was paying EBT. As if they targeted that question by stereotyping my race, because I’m a black woman in pjs. I don’t have EBT, luckily enough I make more than enough to survive without it. I felt took’n a back and told my other payment option. I don’t know why they would just assume I’m on food stamps? Although being on food stamps is not a bad thing due to the type of economy we’re in and the recession we’re going through. I am still making more than enough to support myself. I just didn’t like that he asked me without listing other payment options, like debt/credit. He should know better since I’m a regular. That question was completely hostile. I just wanted to get this off my chest, I’ve been feeling the racist undertones but today completely solidified it for me.

I went to the guy who works at the deli to order Lamb over Rice. He had a thick accent which I have nothing against, but when I asked him to repeat himself he got snippy with me. He even openly told me that he is undocumented which should be reported.I'd like to also add that this place is lacking inventory. It could likely be to the short staff and lack of experienced individuals.I do not recommend this place at all.

This store is convenient has a pretty good selection of pantry items. I have to be honest, their fresh food is not fresh. I bought chicken which seemed off and a head of lettuce which had rot many leaves in.

Great little place. Has most of the day to day essentials. When you dont have the time to go to the supermarket this is a great little place. The produce however could improve as there is very few options and now always fresh. The platters and the cheese steaks are great!
