I’ve had the privilege to spend a great deal of time in Texas, Mexico, New Mexico, and California. All places with an excellent food culture. In the northeast I gave up on finding good tacos, bbq, and gumbo. This place is the exception to the rule (for tacos). 10/10. I don’t know what else I can say to convince you. It is worth a pilgrimage. Get the cochinitas pibil. You deserve the deliciousness, and they deserve the business

I came into the restaurant the other day and order some tacos de birria and they were AMAZING. One of the best tacos i’ve eaten. The customer service was good and the workers were very welcoming and made the atmosphere nice.

The vegetarian burrito was surprisingly tasty! The mushrooms were very well done.

It’s a small shop with no clear menu, but the staff was accommodating. Portion sizes are small but expected for Jersey City.
