Food (5/5): Wow, wasn't expecting it but this place has some really great tacos! We got the carne asada and Al pastor, both were really delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Al pastor which had good textures with the pineapple. We also additionally added the tacos dorados, crispy fried tacos of pollo and chorizo flavors which were also delicious and well made. Service (5/5): The server had a great attitude and was super friendly. Food came out reasonably fast and was good. Ambiance (4/5): Nice looking shop with good Mexican flag decorations hung up. Seats and venue was overall clean and nicely laid out.

Quality Mexican, solid portion sizes, fast delivery, large selection, including breakfast options. I’ve ordered from here so many times, it’s great. No doubt the best takeout taqueria in the Journal Square area (and there are a few). Staff here is friendly and almost always smiling.

I have been coming here for the past few years and I’m very disappointed to say that today will be my last time. I ordered the carnitas burrito and told them several times when place my order, to remove avocados because I am allergic. I then asked again before paying to make sure it is removed and then again before receiving my order and heading home. Long story short they were not removed and had an allergic reaction with vomiting and nauseated. I am very angry and can’t believe that they didn’t check after several times of asking and checking.

Extremely rude customer service. Don’t know how to speak to their customers. With the language barrier if you don’t understand them once then they will start screaming when their English isn’t even clear enough. With their half broken English and more of their Spanish dialect they get agitated and rude with customers request.
