I am so upset at myself. How in the world did I not know about Taqueria Oaxaca !? I feel like I'm eating in Mexico- this food is beyond delicious, I wish I took a better picture but I devoured this dish as soon as I got home but stopped myself to post this. If you have not tried this place, it's a true hidden gem. Homemade tortillas, excellent criollo flavor in the Fajitas (taste and feels like my Mom cooked it). You know when food is cooked with love - this place is it. Tried the green tamale as well and pleasantly surprised, I can't wait for to try other dishes they make. This is a family owned business so please go try them out-- I'm going to be a life long customer ! Highly recommend.

This place makes the best steak and cheese enchiladas! The steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly, the red and green sauce brings the perfect amount of spice, and it’s a generous serving size. My wife and I were takeout regulars when we lived in Jersey City and we still travel from Bloomfield for their food! We ordered enchiladas w/ rice and beans and guac tonight. Perfect as always!

I was choosing a place to eat for lunch and had my heart set on some chinese food but the restaurant was closed, right down the street I saw this place and stopped in. I ordered the pork chops with rice and beans, it also came accompanied with some homemade tortillas. For desert I got their flan and was surprised by how yummy and creamy it was, definetly tasted homemade. The food was good and very satisfying, I ate the entire thing and was full for the rest of the day. Because of the experience I had, I will be returning but I want to try so many of the other dishes they offer.Vegetarian options: There are some yummy vegetarian options. Cactus salad, nopales. Quesadillas and Stuffed chiles are among some great options.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant had many families eating when I stopped by for lunch. There aren't too many tables, probably like 4 tables and one more for 2 people.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is street level, perfect for wheelchair access.

Weird to see the bad reviews. We've been getting burritos here for years, they have the best veggie burrito in the city in my +husband's opinion (spinach and broccoli) and they give you 2 for the price of one. Agree that the chicken tacos are not the best but give other things a try for sure. Green sauce is also dope.

The best Mexican spot in The Heights.Atmoshohere: Very clean, well-organized and quaintFood: AUTHENTIC and flavorfulService: Friendly and catering ( meaning they will take care of you)I had the...Burrito Tinga : Fair warning- 2 come in a single order. Smacking with flavor. Homogenous draw-dropping flavor throughoutFried Quesadilla Tinga : Buckle your seatbelt for this one- a total of 4 come in a single order . The chicken was covered in sauce all throughout the inside of quesadilla (no dry spots) . Buttery, light crunch to the outside partSalsa picante (Verde)- fresh.Crema- fresh.FAIR prices

This is not a real mexican spot , this is the 2nd time and the las one i come here for food , the food is not tasty at all , tacos or tortas are really dry ,and salsa side is a dollar extra when they are suppossed to give you a side of salsa also minimum you have to spend is 15 dll i dont recomend this place , at all , the lady who attend looks like she wants you to buy even things i dont want just to buy 15 dll wich is the minimum , dont waist your time or money, go eat something good somewhere else

Showed up before closing and they closed the kitchen in my face. And they were very rude about it. I came in before closing. Don’t like to be treated rudely for that.
