O Lord! Food was SO bad. Got curry goat, curry chicken and roti skins. I’ve never cooked curry in my life but I bet ya I can cook way better than this. Spent $77 on my order and most of it I had to throw away. Auntie at the counter was so nice but can’t cook for nothing. How is this place even in business?

Hidden food gem 💎 in Jersey City NJ I was in the mood for some good tasting West Indian food and I found it surprisingly in NJ not in Brooklyn or Queens the curry Goat was a straight Situation definitely recommend it they also have a lot more dishes and options to satisfy your West Indian craving..

If I would be able to give this place zero stars I would start with that. Very bad food quality, my husband spent over 120 dollars in food from here, yesterday and when he got home the food was all over the bags, the food wasn’t pack properly seems like they don’t care about it. All the bags were wet and oily, it was very nasty, we had to throw half of the food away, we called them to tell them about the food being all over the bags, they didn’t care they said they can’t do anything about it, all the containers were broken, seems like they have broken containers they don’t check and they give them to the customers like that. We were on the phone and they started give us attitude and the hung up on us. we tried to eat the other half and I got sick I was sick from my stomach the whole day, I even got fever.

Just a big NO! I should of known better when I walked in and my shoes stuck to the floor. All the treats on the counter were dusty or outdated. Against my better judgment I ordered 4 doubles. When I got in the car and took one out the smell was offsetting. Then I took that bite and it taste like it smelled, I didn't take another bite. Money wasted.

This is my go to stop especially for Doubles.
Love the doubles and Alou pie. If placing a big order especially for multiple doubles then I recommend to call ahead of time so they have it ready for you. Food is tasty and reminds me of Trinidad!

I really wanted to make this my go to place after leaving Brooklyn but, after today they lost more than the 75cents they were looking to charge for the vegetarian roti w/potatoes and chickpeas. My order today was 27$ in total they thought it was appropriate to instead of calling me to ask if they could charge my card the 75cents extra for the chickpeas, to send the roti without out it. They instead sent a note stating in order to add the chickpeas they would need 75cents extra….when this was never an issue in the past. I will wait until I’m in East Orange or back in Brooklyn to be serviced appropriately.

I visit the roti shop very often and love their doubles. The owners are super nice, and the prices are decent. They always have customers, and it seems these are loyal, long-time customers. I would recommend the doubles and roti.

Portion was too little. They use Styrofoam plates. It causes cancer. So I asked her for a bowl. Not friendly at all. The curry goat did taste good. But everything else is way below mediocre for the damn price they charge. Roti was so thin and ridiculous. I would never eat here again. Smile at your customers especially a friendly one like me. U had an attitude when I was asking about pricing. Woman, change your trini attitude and make people feel welcomed!!!!
