Felina Steak at Hudson House

Last night I traveled into Jersey City for a night out on the town with a friend. We had reservations at Felina for 730. Seated promptly and accomodated very well with the seating I had requested, which was as close to the windows as possible. Gorgeous view from where we sat (first 2 pics)

Our waiter was polite, attentive and engaging. My friend ordered a tequila and titos and I ordered a smoked old fashioned with Whistle Pig. I asked for 3 cherries (my signature). Drinks came back about 15 mins later - hers was good, mine was not. Mine looked like it had been sitting at the well for some time as the ksrge ice cube was melted much more than it should have been, had 2 cherries and and tasted flat. Sent it back and it came back much better, but not smoked at all. Waiter was on it tho and brought the glass smoker to the table to make sure it was right this time.

For appetizers we ordered the Calamari and meatballs. Both were average. Calamari was stringy tho, and they served it with ranch (weird) and marinara. Meatballs tasted like they were missing ingredients but still weren't terrible - but they were small.

For main course, she ordered rigatoni ragu. I ordered a sopressetta pizza with hot honey and cacio de pepe. All 3 entrees were subpar. My pizza looked like someone took a bite out of one of the slices and covered it with a piece of sopressata. Cacio de pepe looked like half a serving, was overly salty and drenched in a cream sauce. It was cooked well trho - a very good al dente. The rigatoni ragu was ok, but not great by any means.

For dessert we ordered cheesecake and tiramisu, along with a double espresso and cappuccino. To our disappointment, we were told that there was no coffee available at all, because the machine was broke. The tiramisu was good. The cheesecake was warm, like it had been sitting for some time.

Overall, the ambience was amazing. Great views and a very trendy design on the interior. The service was very good. The food experience was absolutely subpar. The icing on the cake, was that we struck up conversation with the table next to us, and they had the same feeling and reactions as we did about their meals.

I would not visit this establishment again. Despite the amazing views and good service, our overall experience was overshadowed by unfavorable food taste, smaller portions and overall quality.

Absolutely loved Felina Steakhouse in Jersey City.
From the moment I made the reservation, I felt well taken care of. The service was warm, attentive, and on point without ever being too much. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, with a vibe that makes you want to linger. The food was incredible. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The view of the skyline was breathtaking, especially around sunset. And the live piano music added such a special touch, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. I'm already looking forward to going back.

We had a family dinner for my in-laws anniversary and everything was exceptional. The restaurant really out did themselves; down to a personalized menu. Service was amazing, thanks to Erik who took really great care of us and made great recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and appetizer selections and the drinks were amazing as well! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is one of my favorite steak houses.

The atmosphere is amazing, the service is amazing, and the management is amazing.

There is valet parking , rooftop bar area with outdoor / indoor seating and fireplace.

Felina was such an amazing birthday experience and a perfect spot for a date or a girls' night out. Drinks were amazing, they had seasonal specials, and the entire menu offers so much variety.

The vibes are so sleek and upscale considering how affordable it was. It's right on the river with views of FiDi and statue of liberty. We came for early dinner and got to watch the sunset. They also have an outdoor deck with benches to enjoy the view.

Our server Eric was truly so accommodating. All of our questions about the menu were answered, and everything he recommended (the veal milanese, the espresso martini tower) was worth it. Plus, he coursed everything out for us so that we could enjoy our night without being rushed.

Felina is a perfect place to celebrate without feeling cliche. Definitely worth visiting!

Carlos was absolutely amazing, went about and beyond with his charismatic personality. We were seated outdoors, we had a beautiful view of the Statue of liberty. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious I had the espresso Martini amazing. No complaints at all. Will be coming back again.

I want to share a very favorable dining experience at Felina Steak House in Jersey City. The staff could not have been more hospitable and pleasant. Our family got seated by the window and can not tell you enough about the views of the water and The Statue of Liberty. There was a back group piano and singer beautifully entertaining us during our Sunday brunch. Our waiter needs a notable mention, Erik went above and beyond with our entire stay. Erik was fantastic even to the fact He told us about the upstairs bar ~. escorting us upstairs and took photos of my family with the water in the backdrop. Erik even helped sing Happy Birthday to My cousin. 5 Star experience and I want to go back & have cocktails upstairs on the beautiful patio. Thank you Felina and Erik. P.s. the best espresso martinis we ever had !

I cannot say enough good things about our experience thanks to Alexandra and Elena! From the moment we sat down, Alexandra went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made spot-on recommendations that took our meal to the next level. Her energy and professionalism were unmatched!

And a huge shoutout to Elena, the manager, who made us feel like VIPs. She checked in to make sure everything was perfect and radiated genuine warmth and hospitality. It’s clear she runs a tight ship while still keeping the atmosphere upbeat and inviting.

Between Alexandra’s top-tier service and Elena’s exceptional leadership, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. 10/10—can’t wait to come back!

Loved this place! I booked a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday and I requested to be seated by the window and they honored it- they even gave my bf a sweet little card signed by the staff. Our waiter, Carlos, was super attentive and he was overall amazing. He allowed us to enjoy our starters without feeling rushed and we had ample time to really enjoy our meal as well. The food was great- we started with the pepperoni pizza made by Tony and my bf loved it so much - we actually ended up ordering another pie to take home! We both had the Ny Strip with truffle fries- it was amazing. Ended the night with chocolate mousse and lemon sorbet. SO GOOD. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely wonderful experience. First the view is incredible. Valet was very sweet. Then the restaurant staff were all amazing. The hostesses were very welcoming. We were seated and greeted immediately. Service was top notch.
What a table side experience from Adon with martinis!!! Will definitely be returning!!!!
