Over priced. Staff is goofy. Meal in the Togo bin are unpriced! What is it a jewelry store??

Sorry to break it to you all, but Jeffrey's Bistro is permanently closed. This was a cool local boozy brunch spot by the same owners of grove square bar. At nights it was a popular local hangout. But after the pandemic this became one of those locals businesses that was impacted by alot of changes. So, if you want to go here, search for its new iteration, Grove Station, instead. Its everything the bistro was, just smaller. And if you want more details i wrote about it on my nightlife blog @alwaysthevip

Best brunch in Jersey City and it’s a reasonable price

Stay away unless your drink and want your card charged extra stiff you didn't order. Place is a mess looks like it's going out of business

I visited this place for brunch. Ambiance was nice, waiter wasnt able to explain the menu or choices for brunch due to a language barrier. The unlimited brunch for $35 gave multiple different samples of food. The chicken & waffles were edible. The penne vodka was horrible. Taste like regular spaghetti sauce. The chicken tacos were very bland w no seasoning. I had to send the picture of mimosa back as it was very watery. I ordered Corona, the waiter came back with a Corona light without telling me ahead of time that was all they had.

I want to give a well-deserved shout out to Nubia! Our table was delayed in ordering and she kept such a great attitude. We enjoyed our meals and in particular the courteous, professional service!

One of my girlfriends had a bday outting here so I met her and her friends. When I arrived I was lucky to find parking nearby. I walked in and went to the bar area which is attached and had to go around to the bistro. The table was served by Julian and he was great. I didn't order food so I went to the bar and was served by Shannon. She was super nice and quick even though she was new. There was happy hour set for certain drinks for certain times, so I got the jalapeño margarita and it wasn't bad. I also got the pinot nior and it was ok. I didn't order food but it looked good and they seemed to have enjoyed. We all had fun and will return.

I had a really good time here! I went with a friend on a random weekday for brunch which they do everyday from 11-3ish (I suggest you call before you go to make sure they're still doing it). Drinks: They have $20 mimosa pitchers, which is totally a steal, and they're pretty strong, good mimosas! Between two people, you can get 1-2 pitchers and be perfectly fine, depending on how much you want to drink. Service: The service is pretty fast/servers are nice and wear masks. They also put sparkling water on every table but do not be fooled, IT'S NOT INCLUDED, ask for regular water if you don't want sparkling-- we got fooled. Food (from the brunch menu): Chicken and waffles: It was a huge portion size, worth the $14! Chicken came out really crispy and seasoned. The waffles were hot and seemed fresh as well. Margherita Flatbread: This was SOOOOO GOOD. It was really crispy and thin. Seemed like they just pulled it out of the oven and plopped it on the table. It was more like a cheese pizza flatbread than a Margherita, but I really enjoyed it. 10/10, I'd DEF recommend getting this if you go here. Overall, I'd give this place a 4/5. They had disposable utensils so it's really not a fancy place (probably would not choose it for an occasion unless you don't mind the disposable utensils and are looking for something affordable) but for a quick bite and fun weekday or weekend brunch, it's a great spot! I'll be visiting again.

This is our go-to spot in Jersey City for a quick drink and bite to eat! It's in a great location on grove street right next to the PATH with a large indoor area as well as some outdoor seating available under an awning. The servers are very friendly and service is fairly quick! They have a solid assortment of drinks as well as some food options. We have only ever gotten appetizers here but the truffle fries are consistently good and the meat and cheese board was pretty good too.

Decided to try a different restaurant than our typical go to! Upon entering we were told to sit anywhere, after locating a desired table they completely forgot about us. LOL, sadly, the place wasn't even filled. Smh, It was almost 90 degrees outside and they didn't attend to the basic service of "water". We were lucky to get out the sun and make reservations with their competitors and chat in some AC before leaving. Thanks for seating us out the heat!

Told us to sit anywhere and forgot us!! Don’t waste your time. Terrible service and dirty tables

This place is terribly run. The food is bland but it's not terrible. The service however is beyond awful and ruins the entire experience. My husband's order was wrong and it took them almost an hour to bring the replacement dish. We complained and were told that the manager was "too busy" to come out to talk to us. The waiter was completely overwhelmed with no one to help him. Complete waste of time and money. Avoid this place!

A little depressing having mother's day brunch here. They served our food on cheap paper plates. My parents had the steak and eggs and the paper plate ripped through as they cut through their steaks. There were not given steak knives. The steak was poorly cooked. I order the chicken waffles. It was disappointing. My bf ordered the loxes of love and it was decently delicious.

Place looks great. Good decor, outdoor setup, and drinks. The service was not good at all. While polite and very nice, our server definitely forgot about us multiple times, was Somewhere in the back or was extremely overworked. I can't tell which it was. We ordered a light salad to start, spaghetti and meatballs, and a margherita flatbread. We placed our drink order which we got quite quickly so that was a good start but downhill from there. We placed our food order when the drinks came. The salad came out on a paper pizza place (I kid you not). Salad was fine. It's a salad. The meatballs come out 20 mins later... we are waiting for my wife's flatbread... 5 mins - I ask the server at the table next to ours if he can find our server and about the flatbread.... 10mins - I go look for her and can't find her..... Now my pasta is getting cold as I've waited for my wife's food so we decide to start sharing my food 15mins - she comes out to see "how we are doing?" 2 mins after she comes back saying they forgot or skipped her flatbread...... WTF!!!! We cancel the flatbread order and ask for the check. It took another 10 mins for that to come. Awful service. Maybe it was a one time thing but based on the reviews I can't imagine it was. I'd probably come back for drinks to enjoy their outdoor space but that's about it.
