The Cliff in Jersey City, NJ. This cute cafe nestled in Jersey City, NJ needs to be on your list. It’s a few steps away from 9th Street light rail stop making it super convenient to get to. It gives a neighborhood vibe-serving delicious coffe and super healthy but amazing food! Everything is homemade here from the cheddar chive biscuits to the brioche French toast. the cliff is open 7 days a week, is BYOB and there’s a super cute patio garden in the back during the Spring and Summer time! ☕️🍳

Chive biscuit was incredible. Fluffy and crisp at the same time. Added some sriracha for some kick and it was perfect. Staff is always helpful with suggestions and occasional substitutions.

Açai bowl was just mid. Better to add some granola for variety, and have it less of a slowly melting ice cube. Fruit on top is nice though.
Didn’t get coffee from here because the machine looks quite basic.
Service had zero warmth, and venue had little space. Go to Lil Dove Cafe around the corner instead.

Food was decent as usual but service has gone done the drain. The same waitress who served us last year probably decided not to talk or even look at her customers anymore. Wish her luck. We are not going back again. My husband liked it and we walked all the from Hoboken with our daughter. Hope the owner/manger see this message and improve the quality of service.

This vegetarian cafe is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. This trip I got the mozzarella sandwich, shared fries and my husband got the salmon sandwich. The fries were awesome, I have to say I was surprised. My husband loves his salmon sandwich, he said the cream cheese was yummy. He got a matcha latte and I got a cappuccino. Both yummy as usual. The last time I was here with a friend I got the shrimp tacos which I loved and my friend got the cauliflower wrap which she said was really good. Everything is always fresh and healthy.

On a sunny Sunday, we decided to check out The Cliff, a charming little cafe that caught our eye with its chic vibe and inviting atmosphere. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a leisurely brunch while soaking up the sun.
The menu is particularly appealing, packed with a variety of vegan and vegetarian options that cater to a wide range of tastes.
We kicked off our meal with the Biscuit Sandwich, which typically comes with egg and cheese nestled inside a fluffy biscuit. This dish was quite impressive! The biscuit was perfectly baked, flaky on the outside while remaining soft inside, and the combination of flavors was delightful.
Next, we moved on to the Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap, which was a satisfying choice. We also tried the Cobb Salad, which, while decent, didn’t quite stand out as much as the other dishes.
To complement our meal, we indulged in some smoothies, which were refreshing and well-blended. They were a nice way to cool off on a warm day and added a healthy touch to our brunch. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of what they have to offer!

The Cliff is an amazing cafe for the people who work here, their amazing service, cozy interiors and the best part is their food. We loved everything we had here especially their goat cheese omlette and chocolate brownies.

Had friends in town visiting from LA and was seeking a "Venice California Vibe" to take my friend & her 6 year old daughter. Took them to The Cliff in the heights and sat in the back patio with rainbow umbrellas & cute tables. Had the best buffalo cauliflower tacos of my LIFE and our friends in town said they totally felt the Cali vibes. Service was excellent and food was DELISH.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect family spot!
