My wife and I ordered a vermicelli bowl each, hers with grilled chicken and mine with grilled pork and spring rolls. The spring rolls were fantastic as were the grilled meats. The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 was because both of us felt that they had skimped on the veggies. Service was great. I'm glad we went and highly recommend the restaurant.

Went here for dinner as a group of 8 and was able to be seated right away. This was nice since we chose this place at the last minute. Our waiters, especially Bao (I believe that’s his name) were super helpful and attentive. The food we ordered also was delicious and plentiful. We had leftovers to take home! We ordered the crispy fried squid, fried sweet potato with shrimp, grilled options such as lemongrass chicken, short ribs, and pork chop with fried rice and of course pho. Pricing is to be expected due to inflation, but we thought was fair given the amount of food we got! Definitely will come out here again for lunch/dinner whenever we’re in the area. Oh, and as far as parking goes, we were able to find one right under the train overpass. I remember the former business using the parking lot next to it but it was locked when we got there. So maybe it’s not in use? Either way, if you’re in the area or from JC, just check it out!

Came on a Sunday afternoon and place was half full. We got seated immediately and the wait staff were all super friendly. Our waters were also always full. - Bun Bo hue hit the spot with a flavorful soup and a hefty portion of meat along with the pig trotter. - Pho dac biet had tasty meaty bone broth and hefty amount of meat/tendons! - shaking beef lunch was lemongrassy and was the perfect "app" to our bowls of noodles Overall super glad to have found a good pho place in JC!

I never write reviews but I was completely blown away by how good the service was here. This was our first time having Vietnamese food and our server was so patient and walked us through the menu. He made great recommendations for our appetizers and entrees, and gave us tips on what condiments to use and how to consume. Really the whole staff was incredible from the moment we walked in. Our favorites dishes were the crispy spring rolls and chicken curry. We will definitely be back!

Food was average. It kind of lacked taste, but it overall wasn't much worse than the previous New Thanh Hoai here. However when we got home we felt a bit sick and lips got really dry. I think they used too much MSG. Also, they gave me back less change than I asked for. I guess the waiter preferred to give himself a 25% tip instead of 18%.

Usually taking a chance eating Asian cuisine in area not surrounded with Asian population. The food is good - not amazing but good. However, the server Jonny definitely made this restaurant a 5 stars review in my book. He made good recommendations and is very patient while having a great humor. Very attentive and explained things so well. We really enjoyed this experience and definitely will return again when we are in Bayonne, NJ!

Came here after seeing the wait for Rumba Cubana was over 2 hours. We were seated right away. Everything was phenomenal! The pho was delicious and plentiful. The short ribs were delectable and the spring rolls were perfection! We will definitely be back

This was our first visit since they changed management because the reviews were sub par. The updated interiors were nice and the service was great but the food lacked authenticity and depth in taste. We ordered the shrimp and papaya salad, pork chop over rice and pho ga. These are Vietnamese menu classics that aren't that difficult to make yet The Corner Pho skimps on ingredients that make these dishes taste authentic. The papaya salad dressing tasted like simple syrup with a drop of fish sauce. The pork chop was thin, overcooked and burnt. The pho ga tasted like regular chicken broth with overcooked pieces of shredded chicken, leaving me parched afterwards. Please make better Vietnamese food. Authenticity wins!
