Great spot! Coffee, food, and service are on point. Always great to see Matthew and the staff when I drop in. One of the best additions to the neighborhood!

Great people! Amazing coffee! (And I'm an Aussie and Aussies are coffee snobs) Vegan options on the treats too. The blueberry donut was mind-alteringly good 🤤

Nice coffee shop near Liberty State Park. The coffee was good, a nice flavor but not super bold. The guys working at the counter were friendly, but food service was slow. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese, and the bagel was burnt.

Amazing iced coconut latte with oatmilk. Happy to see they sell Doughnut Plant (eggless) cake donuts here, too! Nice staff. Cute spot.

Good Coffee, Good Food, Good Vibes!
This shop is more than just my go-to neighborhood caffeine fix; it brings community and culture to a budding neighborhood!
My favorite drink is the Ube Horchata Iced Latte, and I also love the Pistachio Pastry.
Make sure to stop by on weekends when the curated thrift and maker pop-ups are going and the music is playing! 100% a fun time.

I do like their coffee and support how involved they are in the community but 8 dollars for a 16oz almond milk cappuccino without any flavor is a lot. Personally, I don’t think their espresso is that strong to support to the price. I got a cappuccino a few times and didn’t find it hot enough.

$6 for a garbage bagel, piss poor drip coffee, rickety plywood tables, and only 1 outlet in the whole place. Staff was nice though

The service is great, the drinks are great (didn't know Iced Chai was a thing until visiting the Grind about 10 months ago. Now I don't think it's fitting to take a star away but I want to point something out. The price board listed Chai at 12oz $5.50, next size 6.50 and largest I conclude is probably 7.50 but honestly I forget the price on the large. Now nowhere did I find the words Iced or Hot on the price board. So I expected to pay $5.50 as I asked for a small Iced Chai. I paid $6.92 or $6.93. Let me say that I was given a cup the size of a 16 oz pint glass but plastic not quite as thick as the glass on a pint glass so I can assume it is 20oz or more. So I definitely got what I paid for and it was up quick and delicious. Staff was wonderful, however I had wanted to tip but the drink was beyond what I had to spend and I do feel bad for not tipping but I think it is a little bit of a shared lack of communication in regards to how much the drink cost. Now after ordering and answering which milk and handing a $20, I really wasn't going to change my order especially as other customers were present and it is something memorable I came back from Bayonne to order specifically from this Cafe. If I'm incorrect I will happily edit my review or if anything can make this a bit clearer, I will change my review to reflect your responsiveness. RE Grand opening on April 19th and New design layout could be the cause so I definitely don't place blame if it's due to the transition as well. I will be back either way. Thank you!
