Had a farewell brunch here for a friend who was moving to another planet (AKA Long Island). The food was....adequate, though to be fair, I only got the Caesar Salad with crispy chicken. I did appreciate that our server gave us a complimentary plate of Truffle Home Fries because she felt she had misrepresented how big one portion was.
Maybe dinner's better? Or maybe this place is more hype than substance.

I live in this building so I think by reviewing , Google will stop asking me to rate it every time I drive home..........but it is a pretty solid day bar with a cool vibe

Order the steak and fries which was drenched in some sort of gravy sauce which came cold as the sauce had stiffened on top, the steak was also pre sliced unlike the other photos here, and the burger was undercooked also tasting as if it was sitting around. The waiter was very apologetic, but the food quality and the price point do not match.

Stopped by after a day at the waterfront with our two small kids and had a great experience. The outdoor seating area has a fun, camping-style vibe with string lights and an Airstream, with picnic style seating, which was really cool. The staff was friendly and patient, even with the little ones. We had oysters to start which were super fresh and everything else we ordered was delicious. Drinks were great too. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Jersey City!

I came in Saturday & Sunday brunch ish time, and I enjoyed everything. The staff was super friendly, and attentive. Refilled waters with out asking or bothering the table, which was so nice! The food was very very good. I enjoyed the avocado toast, my friend said the burger was good, and my boyfriend enjoyed his French dip. When we came back on Sunday, we sat at the bar for just a snack and we had the wings and nachos also a solid choices. The nachos did come with pieces of steak rather than shredded, still great just different! The sauces though are very very delicious!
I look forward to coming back soo!

Warm and friendly vibe, good service, and good food. I enjoyed the candied pecan salad, and the short rib grilled cheese is very tasty.The meat is tender and flavorful with the right amount of melted cheese on crispy toast. It is not a huge sandwich but I found it the perfect amount of food. I will order that again. I also had the hot apple cider bum cocktail. I found it watery and disappointing. Not really cider, more like watery apple juice w a hint of whiskey. I won't order that again. I like going to the Hamilton Inn! I the food comforting and the space inviting. Thanks!
