EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK – THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SAFETY
I was at this location on June 7th, and I will never eat here again after what happened. I’m a regular customer—I’ve come here often during work and have always supported this place. But after this experience, I feel completely disrespected and unsafe.
I found a sharp piece of what appeared to be glass in my food. I calmly and politely informed the staff and asked them to discard the food so no one else would be harmed. Instead of taking it seriously, they acted like I was just trying to get something for free.
Let me be clear—I did NOT ask for a refund at first. All I wanted was for them to take responsibility and remove the dangerous food. They responded by asking if I wanted another portion of the same food or a refund. I told them I didn’t want either—I wanted them to stop serving that dish to others. After their disrespectful attitude and complete disregard for safety, I finally said fine, give me the refund—but even then, I told them to keep it. This was never about money. It was about doing the right thing.
And yet, they still refused to remove the food from being served. That alone says everything about how little they care about customer well-being.
To make things worse, when I said I would be contacting corporate and posting about this, one of the employees began recording me with his phone—trying to intimidate me instead of listening or apologizing. I wasn’t being aggressive, I was being concerned and responsible. I’ve already reached out to corporate, and of course, I haven’t heard a word back.
If something goes wrong with your food here, don’t expect accountability. Don’t expect safety. This place does not take food safety seriously, and some of the staff are flat-out rude and unprofessional.

The Little Beet is a fantastic spot for fresh, flavorful, and wholesome food that leaves you feeling great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the customer service is exceptional—especially the two ladies who bring such positive energy, making every visit even more enjoyable. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly enhance the experience. They NEVER forget to add my Chipotle Aioli on top. I’m a banker from NYC & frequent this JC location for work meetings & this has been my go to lunch location for over two months. Octavia, Denasia, & other members of the staff are AMAZING. So helpful; always with a contagious smile; & kind words. When I’m having a tough day, they sure are a bright light for me.
By the way... the turkey harvest bowl is my go to - sub with chipotle sauce. Thx me later.

So i went in thinking it was a healthy spot idk if its this one batch but i paid 29$ for a plate which was way overpriced and i cant even eat it its overwhelming with salt its disgusting and too much sodium is unhealthy im never going back here again and will be reaching out to whoever is incharge

There are two employees with bad attitudes working on the line. Their behavior is extremely unprofessional. I used to come here for lunch, but after dealing with them, I will never return. Customer service is part of the job. Whether you’re having a bad day or covering someone else’s shift, that’s not the customer’s concern. I don’t appreciate being told to “speak up” or having food slapped into a bowl like it’s being served in jail. Anyway, goodbye. I’m never coming back.

This place is good if you're in a pitch and don't have much around but isn't worth going just to try. The bowl is a little dry but the taste isn't bad. Good meal to take to the airport or just something quick if you live in the area.

I eat here often (or try to) because I like how the food tastes. However, it is very often NOT FRESH. I paid $4 extra for avocado and it looks like it has been left out for 6 hours. Nothing tastes or looks fresh at all and it is very upsetting this happens so often

I come here almost every day for lunch bc the food is great, the portions are just right and the staff is phenomenonal.
I'm always greeted when I arrive and the staff treats me wonderfully. My orders are always prepared with kindness, cleanliness and on time. I especially love the string beans and the plancha chicken!

It’s difficult finding healthy lunch food in the area especially with a lot of corporate businesses around. I’ve visited about 10 times before but today was the highlight when Octavia greeted me from the door, explained the options and was not light with the portions. Her energy and customer service really made it worth it. The food is always good and they have all types of sauces to add on without extra charge . Chipotle gone healthy?
