Food was excellent but took a very long time to come out. We inly saw our waitress three times during the 1.5 hour visit; to take our order, to check how the food was tasting (after a 40 minute wait to get the food) and to drop the bill. Definitely expect to wait and plan accordingly.
Very nice restaurant and the food was good I give it a 9/10. This is a dress nice restaurant.
Food was delicious and service was fantastic! Our server was friendly and very attentive. The only reason I gave 4 stars for value is that the Lemon Drop Martini was small compared to others. Other than that, portions were large and priced fairly. We will definitely be back.
Great place ,very friendly stuff and great service ,the food was very good and the waiter gives us great recommendations about the drinks
I really feel a way about this experience. We arrived early and was seated but a waiter did not show for about 10 minutes. We had questions about the menu and were made to feel we were incompetent. Service was horrible. We ordered bottomless mimosas and were only able to get two because we were abandoned by the server. We had to call someone over each time we needed or wanted something. Overall, we left feeling undervalued and disgusted. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone I come into contact with.
There are very few restaurants in my life that are memorable. The table now tops my tiny list. Chef Dan is a true cuisine artist!!.
Love the food and the atmosphere . Very nice restaurant. Very accommodating us we made our reservation for 4:30 through Open Table. We arrived at that time to find that they open at 5PM . You may want to update the hours online
Food and drinks were great, the ambiance great, our waitress was wonderful. Overall a good expetience
The pumpkin chocolate pancakes i had was mediocre And the turkey sausage had an interesting aftertaste.
My friends and I enjoy dining at The Table for the food, ambience and excellent service. Best restaurant in the neighborhood!

Great Atmosphere and Menu, But Room for Improvement
I recently discovered The Table and was really impressed by the overall experience. The atmosphere is definitely five stars—beautifully designed and very welcoming. The menu is also impeccable, with a great variety of options at reasonable prices.
I tried the salmon eggs Benedict, which was good, but not quite spectacular. On the other hand, the truffle mac & cheese was amazing—definitely the highlight of the meal. My girlfriend had the apple pie French toast, which was a bit on the sweet side for our taste, but still enjoyable. We both agreed that we’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu, as there are so many tempting options.
The reason for the four stars instead of five comes down to the service. When we were seated, our server admitted that there were better tables available but didn’t seat us there, even though the booth next to us was empty. Shortly after, two other people came in and were seated at that very booth. It was a bit frustrating, especially after she mentioned we could have had a better seat, but didn’t do anything about it.
That being said, I’ll still be coming back because the atmosphere, menu, and prices are really solid. Plus, the location is super convenient for me, and the outdoor seating is a great option. I haven’t checked out their bar yet, but that’s definitely on my list for next time.
Overall, it’s a great spot with lots of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they continue to improve. I’ll be following up soon!

The food was fine. We would go back to try more. The service was friendly but extremely slow. It took 15+ min to just get a beer and wine. It was not busy. We had a burger and huevos ranchero.

Hospitality great and atmosphere of the restaurant amazing. Food on the other hand need some serious flavor. Truffle Mac and cheese taste so watery like soup with no flavor. Salmon with risotto had no flavor very bland. Little warm not hot. The food needs more of an upgrade. Dessert on point.

I decided to have a birthday party here to try out their event space area and I'm super happy with the experience!
Leading up to the event, I was in contact with Gina who was super thorough during the inquiry process and on the day of the party, the rest of the staff on-site really made the experience very smooth. Being able to use their sound system to play my music for ambience and using their mic definitely saved me some money and labor instead of having to outsource those party needs to hiring a DJ or renting additional stuff.
I chose to do a Sunday brunch with my friends and food came out right on time when I scheduled with the guests finding all the food delicious. I went for Ham & Veggie Scramble, Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes, and the Latham House Salad as the main course with Roasted Potatoes and Turkey Sausage. I also ordered a Claremont Platter and Crudite Platter for the second half of the party and both were a hit as well!
I am definitely going to book this place again for a future event. One minor note I will say is that I wish the place had more bathrooms or a separate event space bathroom that didn't have to be shared with the main restaurant patrons to accommodate my guests quicker. I had 30 guests for my party and it was fine with a few guests having to wait a little bit to use one of the two bathrooms, but for future events, I do see myself not wanting to invite a ton of people than I've already had in case bathroom queues become an issue.
Other than that, it's great that there's a restaurant on this side of Jersey City with amazing service that you won't have trouble finding parking for due to the huge parking lot across the street. All my guests definitely appreciated just being able to park for free (Sunday) and then immediately head to the venue. As someone who has lived in Jersey City all his life, that parking experience is definitely rare in JC haha
