Old school style ice cream shop. Flavors I tried are all fairly nice and what they say on the label and the ice cream texture is consistently rich and creamy. They had a root beer float so I may be giving it nostalgia points but nothing much to complain unless you are looking for super interesting/intense flavors.

It's not worth the hype. Had a large cup with 3 flavors (pineapple coconut, pistachio cherry, Rocky road). Nothing tasted good. Felt very artificial flavor. And the quantity is very low for the price compared to other places.

Amazing selection!! I've never seen an entire case of vegan flavors to choose from! Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee cookies. Then 6+ sorbets! Everything we got was great! Highly recommend

Best homemade Ice Cream in JC. I love their peach and jackfruit and pineapple coconut. They’re a little slow cause it’s a tiny place and too good. Worth the wait for sure.

As an ice cream enthusiast, I just love Torico. Their coffee oreo is so damn good I have to talk myself out of getting pints every time I go. Service is always great even though it’s always packed. It really is THE ice cream spot in JC.

Incredible ice cream spot. Hits every time. There was one time I had an issue with being double charged. I let the merchant know and was instantly refunded my entire order. They truly care about the customer. I go back once a week or so.

However, the server seemed to ran out of patience when we asked for few samples and at the end giving up the different scoop than we asked for! (Ginger instead of coconut) and scoop size was also smaller than what we had usually in handmade ice cream store!Loved the ice cream though!

Whenever I'm in downtown Jersey City, I'll always find time to stop by Torico's for a sweet treat. They have a huge variety of ice creams, sorbets, and soft serves. There is also a seasonal menu to take note of; keep an eye on that on their walls. I'm pretty basic when it comes to ice cream; Torico's make a good butter pecan and cookied & creme. Workers are always patient and helpful. Never disappointed when I leave the shop.
