I travel the world for business and I can say with 100% confidence that Uncle Momo's had the best and most tender octopus I have ever had. So much so that I asked to meet the owner, Wissam. He was absolutely amazing as a person and an incredible chef. I went there again the next day and brought friends. You absolutely have to go here if you are in Jersey City.

Uncle Momo is more than a restaurant.. it’s a place where folks in Jersey city go to feel like they are being taken care of like they are home. I recently went with my family, and my parents are visiting. My kids were screaming. And my family is a picky eater. Veg, Non veg, crispy fish.. it’s is the stuff nightmares are made off for restaurants. Lol. Not for these guys though. Great experience, food was really yummy, and all the staff members were incredibly attentive. Yousef was super helpful! We ordered the mono mezze (appetizer platter) and the lamn tajine. Strawberry smoothie was good too! Dessert on the house and a sweet ending to the meal
