First time trying this place. The staff is very friendly and willing to customize the sandwich as needed. I created a veggie sandwich. Which was really good! The eggplant parm was okay. The bread was little hard for my taste but otherwise the customized sandwich was awesome!

Yes that is the one! Amazing sandwich shop in the Heights. Fully staffed with 4 people making sandwiches, 1 cashier and enough cooks to bring in the delicious chicken. AC blows in nice and cold in the summer. Payment is easy from your phone/tap/cash

Ordered for delivery today and it was very nice. It was fast and tasty. All the product is pretty high quality maybe they should look at the bread to make it an above and beyond sandwich.

Everyone greets you once you walk in. Very clean location, always fresh food, and the service is phenomenal. The tortellini pesto is great. Check them out when your in the JC heights area. 👏🏼

probably the best chicken parm sandwich in my life, a statement i don’t make lightly. not the cheapest but definitely worth it.

We were on vacation in NY/Jersey City and stopped by Veloce. By far, the best subs we've probably ever had in our lifetime. They were so good, we had to stop again right before our flight. The gentleman taking orders (wasn't able to catch his name) was so polite and informative. Best costumer service ever. He even remembered my name from the day before as he welcomed me back to the store. He was great! Overall, great service, excellent subs. We were able to try both the subs that were served hot and those cold, and they were all amazing! My daughter also got the chicken nuggets and those were amazing, too. Can't recommend enough!

I had my first meal in New York here, and it was amazing! The chicken and cheese sandwich was delicious — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly made. The bread was fresh with just the right crunch, and the melted cheese with the sauce was spot on.

What made the experience even better was the staff — super friendly and welcoming! One of them even took the time to recommend some great local spots to eat nearby. It really made us feel at home.

Veloce Specialty Sandwiches is a hidden gem in Jersey City Heights that first caught my attention years ago. I initially received the wrong delivered sandwich, but their swift correction and excellent service won me over instantly when they delivered the right one.

Located at 457 Baldwin Ave, in Jersey City Heights, Veloce offers an impressive selection of cold sandwiches, including Ham, Pepperoni, Hot Capocollo, Provolone, Cherry Peppers, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Salt, Pepper, Oregano, and Red Pepper Flakes. My personal favorite from their hot sandwich menu is the Chicken Parmesan, featuring a crispy Chicken Cutlet, Homemade Marinara Sauce, Fresh Grated Cheese, and Melted Mozzarella—so good but I suggest more Marinara Sauce should be added. You know how it is when you take that first bite and the sauce drips out and you lick your fingers? I must say the sandwich was warm when I opened it at home. However, I had to order one of each! Let me say they were delicious. Highly recommended.

I ordered an Italian sub, and since I’m Italian, I expected it to be delicious. However, this one looked like a jailhouse sub that I couldn’t even eat. It was cut so thick that it was enjoyable . The chicken sandwich was okay, though.
