Venti is a great sandwich shop in JC. We used to get sandwiches from there back when they only had a food truck. Unsurprisingly, they've leveled up and have a brick and mortar location now. We usually get the chicken parm with vodka sauce and the spicy Italian sub. Can't go wrong with either!

A must try neighborhood gem. They pack on enough meat for two sandwiches with thick slices of mozzarella that’s as fresh as it gets. Really appreciate that the semolina bread is baked locally in JC, though it tastes straight out of Brooklyn. Perfectly executed, team Venti. Thank you!

I get the many positive reviews: this place could not be more generous with its ingredients. Ask for a sandwich here and you will receive a mountain of ingredients inside a gigantic piece of bread. But more stuff does not make a better sandwich, especially if all that stuff makes the bread soggy and impossible to eat as a sandwich. Sandwiches here reminded me of Chicago pizza: abundant but messy, and ultimately disappointing.

I've heard about these guys when they were a food truck and now they have their first store front. Stopped in for lunch and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. They offered up suggestions depending on what I was in the mood for. It's mostly sandwiches there which the sandwich menu sounded great. There were a few returning customers who raved about the sandwiches in there as well. Unfortunately I'm trying to stay away from bread so luckily they had some hot food. I was offered eggplant, chicken cutlet, meatballs, pasta, vodka sauce, marinara, salads. They were very accommodating and said I could do half cutlet have eggplant platter with some mozzarella and vodka sauce. When I got back to work though it wasn't quite what I ordered .. it was all eggplant with mozzarella and marinara. So I was disappointed with that however the eggplant was excellent. It was thinly sliced lightly breaded eggplant. It was a large portion and I couldn't even finish it. So, despite it being the wrong order, the food was pretty good. They also have a soup of the day. It looks like they are still getting things up and running so the menu is a little limited unless you're a sandwich person. I'll return in hopes of getting cutlet.
