I went to the VIP Diner for breakfast and I hadn't been there in years. I was pleasantly surprised by the updated decor and the different dining sections. They even have open mic and karaoke nights from what the staff person told me. It was a really nice upgrade. I had scramble eggs, pork sausage, home fries and a toasted English muffin. Very tasty. The eggs were done and fluffy and my home fries were cooked just as I requested. Crispy on the outside fluffy underneath. The sausage was cooked perfectly, well done but moist on the inside. I didn't see any pastry displays like they use to have. The bathrooms were old school and there is a sign on the door that they only have air dryers no paper towels. It just so happens that I was there on the specials day. Only paid $9.62 for the entire breakfast. Good staff and they kept asking me if I wanted my coffee to be refilled. And I gladly said yes. I'll be going back more often. Parking is ample and free.

The Famous Cheesecake isn’t so good anymore!
It didn’t have that nice creamy vanilla taste like it always had. I was gonna get another one this week, but I canceled it. I will not be buying them anymore. It’s just an ordinary cheesecake. It’s $80. It should be delicious. I bought it to a family party and no one really liked it.
Very disappointed !!!! It was always one of our favorites 👎

I ordered 5 different stuff from the menu and they didn’t have it might as well close this place down if you only have 10/100 things on the menu available

Went there a few days ago they took my order and 5 minutes later the lady says the kitchen was closed they close at 8pm and it was only 7:15pm

I just had my birthday party event at the VIP diner it was wonderful! The service was good the food was wonderful andthe atmosphere was great. They offered us to menus to purchase our meals when was a less expensive than the other so that gave us also more of a variety of options. They allowed us to bring our own music, and also offered karaoke! It was plenty of space for our people. One waitress to be honest had a few issues with service and her attitude but overall it was wonderful. The other waitress was excellent everything went off smoothly despite the slight hiccup. The VIP restaurant extended hours for us because half of my party was in wheelchairs and needed public transportation to come and get them and they kept the doors open for them after hours. I really would like to thank the VIP, it's staff and his owners for all that they did to make my birthday celebration a success! The only problem I had is they didn't save me my cheesecake. So thank you owners and staff for all that you did for me. It was well worth it and I will come back again!

Customer service is good but they need to fire the cook I ordered breakfast to go got home and it looked like the homefries were potatoes from the can the eggs were not cooked the grits was hard and the sausage was pink ruined my whole appetite fire the cook

The food was very bland. But the service was good.
