Is this place open? No answer on the phone, Google keeps stating that the place will open 7 am the following day, every day I check...
Phone calls in are not routing properly or there is another problem with their phone system in the middle of the day on Thursday. They might want to get that fixed, or maybe answer their phone
Nice place , beautiful view and tasty food.
And of course very nice staff
This place hit its peak in 1980. It has been in decline since then.
Avoid this place and the 50 years worth of filth in its carpets.
Great view and food

Food is not fresh by any means.
Baked goods are like 3 or 4 days old and not fresh.
Cakes are old.
We did an omelet order and received a different one.
The bottom line is you would go to enjoy the view.

I was happy with delicious food while looking at the beautiful night view of New York.

The service was very good and so were the mimosas. Maybe we should have just gotten the buffet or maybe breakfast in general tastes better however my porcini ravioli came with a clashing red sauce that did not pair at all with the decent mushroom ravioli. It was $32 and I could only force myself to eat two. The butternut squash bisque was not bad but it most definitely needed a crostini pairing. My husband thought the JC burger and cauliflower were fine but $20 for cauliflower bites is OD. There is definitely room for menu improvements. The view is nice but there isnt much ambiance. It was convenient since we were guests but next time we'll go to a neighboring place.

The food and service was good; however, I was expecting more for the experience. It was a Mother's Day brunch but felt like a normal buffet style brunch you can get at most hotels, except they charged $70/adult and $35/child, which didn't include drinks (that was an extra charge) + they automatically added 18% gratuity. I usually tip well, but to add 18% on top of an overly inflated price for buffet feels wrong. I learned my lesson and will research further before making future reservations for what is tagged as an "experience" by OpenTable.

I had the Vu burger which was absolutely beautiful, the accompanying salad left a fair bit to be desired but the burger made up for it, probably the best I've ever had in my life.Service was great both times I went and the views are stunning.Recommended.

Incredible view of manhattan. Windows were disappointingly dirty though. Food was average. Decent service.

Great view and good service. We went for lunch and I tried the salad with steak. The portion was good and tasted pretty well. My wife got the chicken wrap. My friend also tried the vegan burger which was okay I guess.

Beautiful views (but the hotel should wash the windows), good services. The server was doing his best with what he had and was very kids and patient. My avocado toast and eggs were good. The buffet options were good. Pastries were slightly stale. The place is OK, fine, good, but nothing extraordinary. We went there because of early 9am breakfast option and the views.

The view is fantastic but the menu is very poor and the service is just ok unfortunately. This place could be better.
