Absolutely would recommend this restaurant. It’s small, clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating (we had a party of 9) We are from Colorado and We were celebrating my son’s birthday while here in New York, we let the waitress know and her and the manager made it so special for him. I’ll never forget that! Besides that the food was so good!

They are rescuing Newark Ave. Absolutely the finast dinner. Those in the CourtHouse neighborhood should make Yub's 78 a regular stop.

Small, cozy Italian spot with great value, quality, and service.
The Calamari was lightly fried, crispy, and accompanied by a refreshing mix of arugula, basil, and shishito pepper.
The linguine with clams had well developed flavor without being too salty. The bite on the linguine was tad softer than Al dente which I enjoyed.
The dessert was my favorite. The tiramisu balanced sweetness with richness, and was not soggy. Chocolate drizzle with fresh strawberries elevated the dessert.
My server was polite and sincerely asked for feedback. Service was a bit slow, but I could tell that time was spent executing on each dish.

A “Go-To” BYOB Italian dinner spot that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Quiet ambiance ?for a long day’s work. Across the Court House downtown JC. Free street parking. Bolognese and Chilean Sea Bass was delish! They had quite a few dishes below $20.

Made a 8:30pm reservation. Called to say we running a bit late and they informed us the restaurant closing 1hr early at 9pm and gave no specific reason. The usual closing 10pm. Now need to find something last minute. If we had not called would have been extremely rushed or turned away at the door.

Very clean restaurant. Excellent service. Ive came here twice and have not been disappointed by any dish from appetizer to dessert. All delicious. It’s all BYOB so that is a major plus! Prices are great for how delicious it is.
