I take an hour ride to Jamrock Corner once a week! The food is amazing the prices are amazing and the portions are amazing ! The music and the set up that’s outside makes me feel like I’m literally in Jamaica ??

this place is the epitome of why black businesses don't go far in the industry. because what do you mean the hrs vary every day? If you want to vary your hours, you should cook from home and have an instragram account. one day they open at 1:30, the other one at 4pm, and must days they don't open at all. very unprofessional. I have placed an order on doordash, and my money has been refunded because even tho it's listed as open when the dasher goes to the restaurant is close. from the 2 times that I have been able to catch them open, 1 time the rice and peas wasn't even Jamaican, it more like dominican rice and peas I was so confused, I even thought this restaurant was a fusion rest. the jerk chicken, tho, the jerk chicken was fire ? ?, I could definitely recommend the jersey chicken, but the service and the "fusion" rice and peas not at all.

If you are not consistent with your hours you will not survive as a business. I tried ordering at 8:40 and they are closed already (hours day 9:30)... not good. I try and support local businesses but....
Food is good.... If they decide to open or answer the phone. But most days they're closed or forwarding your call to V-Mail which says they're closed for the holidays.... ??♂️

This food was very disappointing, this was the second time I got food from this restaurant and my rice isn’t done again and the oxtails are tough and too spice , I eat Caribbean food all the time, I’ve never had spice oxtails unless they was on the menu as jerk oxtails . Never again will I buy food from here, I’ll take the drive to Perth Amboy

One of the best Jamaican restaurants I've visited. We ordered the large oxtail meal + medium jerk chicken + beef patties.First off, the pricing and portions are On. Point. The portions are generous, particularly with the oxtail. Both oxtail and jerk chicken were beautiful seasoned, moist and smokey (jerk chicken). The cabbage definitely had some TLC added in as well! The yellow rice was cooked very well. Extremely impressed with this restaurant and will be back when I'll on town again.

Jamrock has great Jamaican dishes - oxtail, jerked chicken, and pork. Mac and cheese, and meat patties (plus more). The rice and peas are spot on, and the service is friendly. If you're looking for good Jamaican food at a reasonable price. You have to try this place.

Honestly WOW!!! Love to see small upcoming businesses!! such an amazing environment, the service was amazing, I just love the all around vibe!! The food would be a 5/5 but every time I go there they don't have mac n cheese :( and I really want to try it but other then that will definitely be eating here again!

the service is good i must say but it’s sad because it’s not authentic! never experienced water down rice from jamaicans like this i tried every style they have the rice and beans comes out of a jar that’s already pre seasoned….extremely salty , the white rice is horrible, the meat for the oxtails don’t even fall of the bone . there is no reason why it’s a struggle when eating oxtails . idk i want to see my black people succeed but this i promise …..this isn’t it save ur money

Not sure how anyone can give this place anything above a 1 star. Waited almost 2hrs for my food after calling in. Place 3 orders and came home with 2 orders and one plate on just rice. All that time and they could nit get it right. Will never go back and advise you not to. P.s.: it was only myself and another woman waiting. By far busy to make so many mistakes. My error on even waiting
