Don't bother. We've thought about going there twice. Both times, tried calling ahead to make sure they were open. Neither time reached a human being. Today decided just to drive over. Paid for parking, walked up to the door, and found a sign stating they were closed for a private party.

Least they could do is put something on their answering machine if they're closed for a function. Won't be trying a 3rd time.

Had a terrible experience. Tried to go there and the doors were locked when the website says they are clearly open

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place was such a disappointment that I feel like I have to warn others.

First off, the service was incredibly slow and unorganized. We waited almost 20 minutes before anyone even came to our table, and when the food finally arrived it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The portions were small for the price, and honestly, the food just didn’t taste fresh at all—very bland and greasy.

On top of that, the staff didn’t seem to care about the customers. When we politely mentioned the issues, the server brushed us off with an attitude instead of trying to make it right. To make things worse, the place wasn’t even clean—sticky tables, dirty floors, and a weird smell when you walk in.

Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not worth the money or time.

The disappointment is high here. Had a Sunday morning reservation for brunch. After being seated we noticed every water glass was very dirty. Had asked for them to be replaced and took 30min just to get new ones. Also to note we were pretty much the only ones in there at this time. As for the Menu…don’t go off of what’s online, what they have is smaller and online isn’t updated. Took over an hour for our food to come out only for orders to be wrong and cold. Each time we had an issue with food missing or incorrect, we heard a new excuse. Save yourself, if the place can’t handle a group of 14 on a Sunday when it’s dead, I can’t imagine when they’re busy.

KEANSBURG: The Beach Gallery is a unique all-in-one space featuring a restaurant, rooftop bar, cafe, and event venue!

We explored their beautiful rooftop, which includes an indoor dining area and two outdoor sections: a laid-back lounge and a lively bar, both offering stunning views of the Raritan Bay and NYC skyline.
The full food and drink menu (including brunch) makes it perfect for anything from casual hangouts to special occasions.

Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome both indoors and on the rooftop, just use the elevator for pet access. A true hidden gem on the Jersey Shore and sure to be a local favorite.

We arrived at 10 (when they opened). Knowing things can be delayed we waited 10.minutes and the doors remained locked with not a single person to be seen inside. If they couldn't be available for opening i wish there was a notice somewhere.

Had a 30 person birthday party on their rooftop. Originally booked with a super easy going event coordinator, Mike, who promised us what I thought we paid for: a buffet dinner and 4 hour open bar, no stipulations. 2 weeks prior to the party I got a call from a different event coordinator, Caden, who was much less accommodating. No where in the contract did it stipulate what the open bar consisted of and when we booked with Mike we were told it was all liquor, I even recall asking about hard teas. Come the night of the party, we ordered surfside hard tea to start and the bartender asked us to pay for them insisting the open bar was only well drinks, certain beers and wine only (of course telling us this after we ordered). This was new information to me and I questioned Caden who never even had the decency to come back over and respond to me…We were promised a dedicated bartender for the rooftop, but there was only one inside and it was clearly his first day with no training. My entire party spent most of their time waiting for a drink at the bar which was super frustrating! The food was decent, a few complaints it was cold, but I didn’t experience that personally. We also came early to setup and noticed there was no space for a dance floor after explicitly telling Caden the week before that we were bringing in our own DJ and expected to have space to dance. Luckily it was early enough and they did move some things around to accommodate, but it should have been done to begin with. The way the cabanas were setup were cumbersome with large pieces of wood sticking out for a tripping hazard. I wouldn’t have had them combine the cabanas if I knew that would be the case, as they suggested it. Also, I purchased small, covered candles as favors and placed them on the tables for people to grab as they left the party. The staff took it upon themselves to start lighting them in the middle of dinner without even asking... I had to go over and ask them to stop since it was a favor and not meant as decoration, I thought it very rude for them to make assumptions without asking the host. Overall, the venue needs to clarify in writing if they plan to have bar exclusions and in my opinion, needs a seasoned bartender and more friendly event coordinator to handle parties.

We went to studio bar. Ordered an espresso, keansburg burger and grilled salmon wrap greek style. The espresso was actually old room temperature regular coffee. the burger was OK. The salmon was salty and the wrap had mayonnaise which would have been fine if hadn't asked for greek style. The staff was nice but appeared very overwhelmed despite only 5 tables. (None of the other floors were open. The outside closed because of the weather. ) Lastly had to leave area immediately after eating because appears one of has food poisoning.

Ate at the upstairs bar!
Great View waitress friendly but then……..!
Limited menu!
Food ok!
Noisy even with small crowd!
With few people it took a long time to be served!
Drinks are a “measured pour”!

Memorial Day. Hotdogs was there Memorial Day menu and the regular menu had very little. Over priced for size and quantity. Waitstaff needs training…waitress said she did not need to write down our order because she would remember it. Wrong. People that came in after us were served 20 mins before us. 50 mins for 1 wrap and a sandwich on roasted white bread…come on.

Amazing view but they are coveting portions of it with red white and blue banners. Wrong placement. ALL cabanas should have a covering from the sun not just 1, and all tables should umbrellas.

No hostess to greet you when you enter the building from the ground floor. Communication server to server is not consistent. We overheard another waitress tell her table if you purchased a hotdog you would receive a raffle ticket for a gift certificate to return. I am glad we did not know or maybe I would have purchased and hot dog and won the raffle…I would not want to be forced to return here.

However, with training and better management and organization, this place can be a hit. My drink was good. One saving grace..and the view.

I attended the Sunday yoga session on the rooftop and i have to say that the atmosphere that Lindsay provided was so positive, welcoming and calming! She was so engaging and knowledgeable. After not having taken a yoga class in a long time i was thankful to feel so comfortable and invited.

Mother’s Day brunch was a joke. All chafers/cheese board/fruit platter were empty and remained empty.
Even when the occasional platter was replenished, there were not clean plates ti eat off of. And in the off chance that they brought out a stack of maybe 5 “clean” plates, they were still soiled or wet.
Management/owners threw their hands in the air and didn’t do anything to recover.
I don’t write reviews but this deserved my time and attention. A complete dumpster fire.
I wasn’t expecting a Michelin stared experience.
I just wanted some simple brunch to celebrate the moms in my life and all I got was robbed.
5 adults, 4 kids $350ish + tip
They offered 10% for our inconvenience which didn’t cover the cost of even 1 adults meal.
If I were the owner I would have ran to Costco to buy fruit platters and croissants or SOMETHING. Super embarrassing.
I could add more horrible details but I’ve wasted enough of my life on this review.

What a disappointing experience for Mother’s Day Brunch. We had an 11am reservation for 9 people- upon arrival, host did not have our reservation. I showed my email confirmation from Derick - which turned out to be the host (or manager?). Instead of making an effort to seat us, the host promoted future events to every all of the tables ahead of us.

After every other party was sat, we were brought to a table missing chairs, place settings, and no more available high chairs (which had been requested in email reservation).

We made our way to the buffet to find little to NO food. Nearly every chafing dish was empty, empty cheese/fruit/pastry platters, no plates, dry and sad looking carving station, and inexperienced pasta cook at the station.

I spoke to the host/Derick about our disappointment - his responses lacked hospitality/acknowledgement and made the situation worse. He claimed that Easter Brunch was a success (how this has anything to do with our current experience is beyond me), the kitchen put food in ovens late (unacceptable excuse and not my problem), asked “did I tell my waitress there were no plates?” (Why should I have to? where are buffet runners / bussers replenishing the buffet? Her focus is on her tables - drink orders and bussing). He then brushed me off and said “go talk to the owner, John- he is upstairs.

I spoke with John. His lack of restaurant experience and customer service was also apparent. It was clear that he was beside himself and completely unprepared. Blamed it on kitchen call outs. He apologized but ultimately provided no reason for us to ever return.

We received 10% off our bill, $36! This did not even cover 1 adult meal ($50).

Holidays are challenging for restaurants- I empathize with the extra stress and high volume. It’s the restaurant GM/owner/Chef responsibility to anticipate call outs, hungry folks (buffet), and that something is bound to go wrong. This team is inexperienced and set themselves up to fail - ultimately providing one of the worst dining experiences for a handful of families.
