Food is fantastic! Prepared as close to dining in southern Italy as one could find in NJ. Sophisticated taste made very simple always have a very consistent meal every time I dine at Taormina. Thank you
This was our first time here (went for lunch.) The food was excellent across the board and we all liked the menu too. The server was friendly but not as attentive as we would have liked, we had to track her down a couple of times. But overall we enjoyed ourselves and do plan to return.
The great food at Taormina was soured on my last visit when we asked the bartender on our way out if we could have a small taste of the Figenza fig vodka. My friend loves figs and was curious. The bartender provided the vodka, but told us in a surly tone: "We don't do this." You can't pour two teaspoons in to a glass so that your patron, who just dropped several hundred dollars on a meal, can TASTE something? Afterward we stood politely at the end of the bar...
